You Never Can Taillow!

On the Way to the Rustboro Gym, Ash, May & Max get lost in the Petalburg Woods without any food, however when a Chocolate bar is found in their bag, they start fighting over it. But a Taillow arrives and steals it, Ash angry decides to challenge it...but when it gets it's friends involved, things get hairy. Can they be saved?

I really like this episode, but then again I find Taillow really cute, Ash's especially!

The battle between Taillow and Pikachu at the end was really cool... and I loved seeing Brock again, as I really missed him... now if I can just ignore his pathetic attempts of getting girls I'll be fine.

Funniest moments were when Brock sprayed Pikachu with that stuff... Pikachu's reaction was priceless... so was Taillow's too.

I liked it when Pikachu and Taillow were battling in the river, Taillow just wouldn't give up!
But surprisingly it could put up with loads of Thunderbolts in this episode but in "Brave The Wave" it got beaten by a single Cross Chop.

Heh, quite literally. I love how that was handled. He didn't just walk up and say "Hi guys!" but instead he got to save the day. I love how Ash & the others were surrounded by the flock of Taillow with no way out, then it cut to a silhouette of Brock throwing a Pokeball and saying, "Forretress, Explosion!" That was a very cool scene.

I also liked the scene where they accused Ash of being a lowsy (sp?) trainer when they didn't have any food !! Hilarious,especially that shot of Pikachu and his can of pokemon food.
And the Taillow were extremely strong in this episode. They could even survive one of Pikachu's thunderbolt attacks. Really awesome. A very good episode imo

I read the summary after of course watching the episode, did Brock appear before his 'explosive' entrance when Ash and the others were eating? or of course when they were being attacked by the Taillow?

Because the Summary says he appeared when they were eating to criticize their food or something... sounds confusing I know but like I just wondered.

I love during this episode when Ash captures Taillow, I think Taillow's really cute! (but that's just my opinion.

Ash appeared when they were about to be attacked by the Taillow. He send out Foretress to do explosion and to get away from the Taillow.

I liked this episode a lot. Taillow was fiesty; I really like its personality. Brock made a great comeback. I also liked it in the beginning when May & Max played tug-a-war using Ash! XD!

Not only was the tug of war hilarious but his and Pikachu's reactions... then they got hungry and its all Ash's fault

Taillow's a favourite for me, I adore how one moment its attack Ash and Pikachu next it wants to be part of Ash's Hoenn Team... and the fact that Taillow was Ash's first capture made it or the more sweet.

This was my all time favorite episode that involved Ash catching a Pokemon. Taillow was really stubborn and awesome!! The only wierd thing that I've noticed is that Brock told Ash to capture Taillow. Was that just a USA Dub?

well it was also a dutch dub. I think they might have said it in the japanese version too.
Really weird that Brock had to say that, like Ash couldn't think of it himself that he should catch such a strong and amazing pokemon !! Weird :S

I liked this episode. It had a greats story line.

It's great that Ash caught a Tailow, it's one of my faves. I think it was a very important episode aswell. It bought Brock back and that made the story of the season in a way. I thought May should have caught a Pokemon giving this Episode more importance. Apart from The Sableye Episode this is one of my favourite fillers!

Um, Ash captured Taillow and Brock returned in it; this episode is anything but a filler!

Anyway, glad Ash captured Taillow, one of my favorite Pokemon(Next to a few...obvious ones)

Yay, Brock's back! I can't wait till they start running Pokemon Chronicles so we can see that one special he was in in-between. I liked how he appeared out of nowhere here to save the day. The twerps and Pikachu being upset because there's no food to eat was pretty funny too, especially Pikachu's expression. LOL At least Ash got Tailow in this episode, too, who's really getting to be a better fighter nowadays.

That episode was brilliant. It got me really interested in Hoenn. Taillow was cool being able to stand up to Pikachu that much. Brock's re-entry was classic with a nice explosion attack. And Ash finally caught a good pokemon. He hasn't caught anything good since Heracross back in the beginning of Johto before this one aired.

May really messed up by sending Torchic to battle but then what can you expect from an early Hoenn ep where May was just starting to know about Pokemon.
