Okay, who do you think was the hardest Gym Leader to beat out of all of Kanto and Johto? Which three gave you the hardest time of getting their badge? Please tell us.

Rules

-No Character Bashing what so ever
-All standard SPP Rules apply
-Vote in the poll for the Gym Leader you think was the hardest to beat before posting
-Some internet slang is allowed such as n00b and XD and incomprehensible internet slang is strictly forbidden. We speak English here at SPP, have a problem with that? Well too bad.
-Give each one a valid reason why you think was the hardest to beat
-Any of the rules above are subject to change
-I will give you a warning each time you break any of these rules. Three times and you are on the ignore list where you are banned from posting here. If you post again after FIVE warnings, I'm alerting you to the MODs

Okay, now here we go!

1.) Whitney. Her Milktank REALLY frustrated me. She was really hard to beat unless you had a substancial level advantadge and/or Machop or Geodude
2.) Blue. He was also a tough cookie but with the right pokemon and moves, it was fine.
3.) Jasmine. Steel Pokemon did gave quite a challenge but with the right moves, you'll be able to beat her

Your Worst Nightmare
- Claire - her Kingdra is almost perfect I do not know any types that can get super effective on it... lol but I still beat it with my Flamer's (Typhlosion)
thunderpunch

- Whitney - god ... the rollout dismantled my team one lucky hit killed the dang thing

- Blue - such a diverse team really took me by surprise but I still p00ned

I know, I know..
Did anyone actually have trouble on Misty, Brock, or Chuck? xD

Out of these, Clair was the hardest for me.

Soul Trainer
for me the hardest was blue, but there was a ten level gap between my pokemon and his (so it was my fault). he has a diverse team so you can focus on one pokemon and revive it should it die.

clair was pretty hard too. i used heracross and headbutted kingdra down to red hp, but clair used hyper potion and hyper beam. i think i finished with corsola with strength and recover for kingdra and sneasel's slash and ice punch for the dragonairs.

third hardest...maybe morty or jasmine. i got lucky with heracross and corsola working so well.

Whitney. The End. You need Geodude to not lose. The only in-game Trainer capable of beating me consistently unless I use the rock thing. :D

Still, she's lovable and so strong it makes me love her that much more. ^^

The rest? Nope. Even Blue, the only worthy GYM Leader ever, was dead meat before he knew it. :(

1. Clair - Kingdra is really hard when your only pokemon that can battle well is a level 41 Typhlosion.

2. Jasmine - Steel pokemon, I didn't know much about them in my early days of Gold, so I didn't know they were weak to fire moves. :p

3. Blaine - Yeah, I know. He 'aint that hard, but I dwoddled a bit while in the battle, and my pokes got fried to death literally. >_>

I had the most trouble with Clair. I've never really been good with fighting against the Dragon Types. It's been awhile since I've played Gold and Crystal, so I don't remember the exact reasons why I had trouble with her.

My first playthrough, I did have trouble with Whitney, though. The only way I could beat her is if I used Machop or Geodude. >_>

muckers

*yawn*
I can't believe the amount of votes for Whitney! I trained up my team for hours, so I was about Lv. 25 when I fought her (whole team). I took down the Miltank first time, in about 3 or 4 hits.

My top 3:

- Jasmine: Her steel Pokemon were pretty tough, especially Steelix, and by that point in the game it's much harder to gain the same amount of levels you did earlier on wild Pokemon.

- Claire: I was annoyed when I found out that Kingdra was Water and Dragon. My Ampharos' electric attacks didn't take her out as expected. And of course her other Pokemon were tough - the only Ice attack I had was Icy Wind, on Feraligatr. Didn't have a dragon Pokemon.

- Blue: I didn't expect all the different types when I first battled Blue. I thought it'd be a single-type affair like all the other Gym leaders. Neadless to say, my team got owned a couple of times - took me about 3 tries to beat him.

whitney... if you dont have a nido-pokemon that knows double kick with you, then her rollout gets extremely annoying... and on top of that, her rollout ALWAYS seems to hit... it never misses
