Ok, so not really the other half of me, but Castiboy's other Diglett half got my spriting senses tingling and so I've made what I believe Diglett's other half to look like.

It could use a bit more shading on it's body. The overall anatomy doesn't seem very fit for digging either. As a suggestion, try making it more streamline with good digging claws.

it still looks flat... i couldn't explain it exactly, but you have to shade it like a 3d ball in zones like its chest and stomach. exemple:

you don't have to use so many shades, it's a voltorb i made some time ago, but just try to adapt yours shading to be more 3D.
on its chest, you just add a second outline under the outline, that's not shading, plus it's not really needed everywhere. you should rather shade a bit under the boobs (lol) but in the interior.

Right, to Dugtrio. Well... it's different, I'll give you that. I didn't really have a plan for Dugtrio (apart from the neck) unlike Diglett where i wanted a really FAT thing. So, here it is.

It needs touching up and I'm not incredibly happy with it. The shading does need work and yes, the boobs are bigger... well, "saggy-ier" at least. C+C please.

I much prefere this one, the wings trully sucked. Also, I might started doing loads of different Pokemon sprites... but really FAT. sort of "Bulkised", but yeah, I'm really bored.

EDIT: I'm not officially back, I'll tell you when I am.

Meh, I don't know why people are so obseewsed with the man-boobs? I suppose sex sells... well, comic sex at least.

And mutten641, I removed the wings in the second version, I thought they sucked.

And my ideas, well, I just wanted this version of Diglett to be completly different to Castiboys and his was a small mole so mine had to be big and fat. Man-boobs are caused from fatness. For Dugtrio, well, considering it's an evolution, it's got to be older, and older man-boobs get saggy-ier... I think.

You know, with all this talk of man-boobs, this thread might have to be given a rating. Can we focus on the spriting aspect for now please. I want to improve and it'd be useful if I had some C+C about shading ect and not just about my ideas. Thanks for all the comments so far, they've all helped.

look at big round pokemon's shading for reference. btw, emphasizing so much the man boobs isn't needed, nor i recommend it... that just makes it look ugly >.>
