Imagine: 8 of your favorite bands/artists are going to be performing a once in a lifetime concert together, and you have tickets. If you could pick the 8 bands or artists performing, what bands/artists would you pick?

As for myself; I'd pick: Slipknot, System of a Down, Slayer, Metallica, Mudvayne, Opeth, American Head Charge, and Killswitch Engage.

HellDhampir

Vampire Hunter
i would pick: Rammstein,H.I.M.,Lacuna Coil,Cradle of Filth,Dir En Grey,Killswitch Engage, My Chemical Romance and The 69 Eyes

i would give my left nut to see all of them togethera and for free

Oh, dear. Only 8? Damn.

1 -KOSAKA RIYU!.. or Noria
2 -And/or just.. BeForU
3 -dj TAKA
4 -K.I.S.S. (Korean Band)
5 -Robert Miles
6 -t.A.T.u.
7 -Vanilla Ninja
8 - Selena (assuming she were alive)

...I'm pretty much stating bands I will never see because they'd never tour in the US/have broken up.. or have died. ;-;

Assuming that the artists have to currently be among the living:

1. Billy Joel.
2. Aerosmith.
3. Elton John.
4. The Backstreet Boys.
5. Al Yankovic.
6. Journey.
7. Paul McCartney.
8. Michael Jackson.

If they artist don't necessarily have to be among the living, then I would replace the later two for the Beatles and Queen.

Either way, that would certainly make for an unusual concert.

Arr...
Why 8? The maximum number of bands I've seen at a non-festival gig is 5.

But, if 8 should play together..

Wintersun
Manowar
Ensiferum
Demons and Wizards
Emperor
Korpiklaani
Yngwie Malmsteen
Sinergy

I think that's a very nice lineup. If I'd not seen them before though, no doubt Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom and Turisas would all be on that list. Even though I've seen Korpiklaani twice before (and tickets for a 3rd time [Paganfest - Ensiferum, Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, Tyr, Eluveitie]) they're so fun live that you have to see them at every occasion!
