Hmm. Recently I've gotten into Linkin Park, which means I have to deal with idiots who think that makes me emo.

Queen is a great band, too. Bohemian Rhapsody is awesome, one of my favorite songs.

And I like a bit of Good Charlotte, particularly The Anthem and The River.

Radiance of Shadows
yeah since Josh gave the A-OKAY why not

Atavist/Nadja (The split EP they did)
You really should check out more Nadja, Tim.

A Tribe Called Quest
Along with Organized Konfusion.

wow, I'm amazed at some of these lists, they have a bunch of really awesome post-rock and stuff with some of the worst -core I've ever seen scattered in there...

anyway, I'm a lazy *******, so please defer to my last.fm

http://last.fm/user/SweetLikeGravy
examples of both?

So you've checked out Comus. Also listened to J Dilla, The Coup and Minus the Bear in the past couple months. Awesome.

The velvet Underground
This one seems so odd compared to the rest of the list.

Do you like White Light/White Heat?

seems like I was just talking out of my ***, as the crappy deathcore isn't that common in these lists.

Yeah, First Utterance is like my new favorite album, and I've been fighting a futile battle to get people to listen to The Coup, especially Genocide and Juice, for a LOOOONG time

Jobless Trainer

Foo Fighters
Tool
Kansas
Lynyrd Skynyrd

Kid Rock
Rage Against the Machine

The longer, more conventional songs on there are somewhat disappointed considering the ridiculous stuff like "Diana," but it's a damn good album.

Genocide and Juice is cool, but I prefer Steal This Album -- like the production more, and what few skits there are don't get in the way of the flow of the album.

I dunno man, Drip Drip is my favorite thing on there

Genocide and Juice is cool, but I prefer Steal This Album -- like the production more, and what few skits there are don't get in the way of the flow of the album.

well, I would like just about all of their albums equal, but E-Roc was bad on their first album, good on their second, and not even on all their later releases, so it's always good to have an extra rapper

as for IDM, I only use the term out of convenience
