Hmm, it appears I forgot to add Dredg to my list, mind you what little I've heard outside of El Cielo has been pretty drab and uninteresting. I have yet to check out Lietmotif yet though. New album sounds pretty crap though :/

Leitmotif is pretty cool. Production hinders it at times, and Gavin Hayes's voice isn't up to where it was with El Cielo, but it's worth buying if you can actually find a copy.

But, yeah, El Cielo is pretty much where the greatness ended. Catch Without Arms has some great songs, but it's too uneven, and I can't stand their newest album.

I'm just checking out that other split between Nadja and Atavist that I bought on Thursday (haven't had time up until now). I hope it's as good as Points at Infinity, the first song on that, Projective Plane is probably my favourite song right about now.

Of course, some of these are up way too far on the barometer of how much I like them, and some too low.

That's my problem with some groups that I just like playing one song A LOT by. I only have about 15 Red Hot Chili Peppers tracks, but I've played "Californication" and "Parallel Universe" enough times to get RHCP in my top 50.

And on the flipside, you can love an artist to death (Dark Angel would be in my top three if I got around to buying Darkness Descends and Time Does Not Heal), but have very little plays due to a lack of songs. Sadly, iTunes has refused to solve my Dark Angel problem, unless I feel the need to buy the disco artist Dark Angel or the thrash band's cover of "Creeping Death."
