i haven't seen D/P yet
so my favorite would come close between battle frontier and orange islands for a second

No hope.....
The Orange Islands all the way! The episodes were cool, not to mention, hints between Ash and Misty. Yay! Pokemon 2000 was cool also.

I'd make some stupid joke about how the seasons never appear to change in the show, and that it seems like the entire pokémon world is shrouded in perpetual summer all year long (baring freak snowstorms and what have you), but...yeah. That would be just plain silly, wouldn't it.

well i have to say that i like the 10th season DP because the attacks are lookin kinda 3d for instins pochama's bubble beam its very realistic!

why dont they try making pokemon look cartoonish 3d and the landscape and characters look the same???!

This is why some people should be barred from watching the original.

Agreed. It would look WAY tacky (see parts of Movie 7). I can understand robots in CG (ala Zoids and Transformers) but not animals.

The first season by far... there were so many excellent episodes in that first season, and many of the one-shot characters had enough personality to make the episodes more interesting. Giovanni appeared in quite a few episodes, making it more mysterious, and giving the idea that Team Rocket may actually be tough. Nothing against the later seasons, but the first season is definitely my favorite.
