i still got my very first pokemon ever it's on pokemon blue, venusaur it's called Bloodwoud and lv 100 my only on lv 100 on blue.

Squirtle was my first ever Pokémon. Two friends of mine had a Charmander and a Bulbasaur, so I chose it.

The very first pokemon I got was Squirtle in Blue, because Blastoise has always been one of my favorite pokemon. That pokemon is one of only a few lv. 100 I've ever had.

Since my first pokemon game was in the g/s era, it would have to be Cyndaquil. My first playthrough got it to level 63. Not bad for my first time around.

Red- Squirtle (Blastoise). It's around somewhere.
Gold- Is always getting restarted
Crystal- Same here
Silver- Gatr. Loved it to death. Dead.
Ruby-Sceptile. Currently collecting dust on Box 14 of FR
FR- Charizard. Also collecting dust.

Gold: nice to know I got Chikorita
Saphire: continuing my war against fire with Mudkip
Ruby: finally got a fire starter with Torchic
Fire Red: Had a flashback with Squirtle

As if this wasn't obvious...Pikachu. Yes, that little Pikachu from Yellow. It was my first Level 100, and boy, I sure loved it to pieces. I never deposited it. I was so good to you, Sparky...And now...you're gone for good.

However this is what I got for the other games:
Blue: Charmander (Or Squirtle, I dunno.)
Silver: Cyndaquil
Gold: I'm gussing Cyndaquil...Or maybe Chikorita...I never really played that much.
Crystal: Cyndaquil
Sapphire: Torchic, then Mudkip, then Torchic.
Emerald: Torchic
Fire Red: Charmander
Every other game either doesn't have a starter, or won't let you choose. :/

My very first Pokemon was Charmander. When I first heard that there was a Pokemon game (8 years ago) I thought that the color of the game you got depended on which Pokemon you'd be able to get at the start of the game. Red = Charmander, Blue = Squirtle. XD

It wasn't until after I got Pokemon Red that I found out you had a choice between the three starters, but I still went with Charmander, because then (and still to this day) he's my favorite of the Kanto starters.

I think the first wild Pokemon I ever caught was Pidgey.

Wow, I think I'm the first one to respond who picked Bulbasaur for their first. I don't even know where my red cart is anymore, but unless it got corrupted she's still on there. ^^
