Your first Shining Pokemon

In my first Pokemon game, Gold Version, I was surfing, and then I found a Shining Krabby, and I didn't even realize it. I ran away from it, because I thought it was a glitch in the game. Then, I was searching for a Shining Shuckle because I saw an episode about it, and I thought it was cool. But instead, I found another Shining Krabby! This time I caught it because I saw stars coming from it, so I knew it was a special Pokemon. Never found the Shining Shuckle, though. When I was training my Chansey on Route 7, left from Saffron City, after two hours of training, I found a Shining Abra, and I was thinking, "No way!" I was right, because I saw that I didn't have a single Pokeball in my pack. As you can see, I don't have good luck with Shining Pokemon. I switched off the game, turned it back on and bought new Pokeballs. I tried to search for the Abra again, not realizing finding a shining is 1/8000 chance. I was about to leave the route, but then, a Shining Kadabra appears, and I was really lucky. I caught it and trained to an Alakazam. It is a cool, purple Alakazam. Please post your first Shining Pokemon.

My first Shining pokemon was my Pinsir, which I named Geenie, a female. I got her while taking the Bug Contest. I won too!! It was in Silver.
I saw emidietly that something was weird about her, I hadnt heard of Shining Pokemon back then and I didnt se the star-shimmer when she appeared.
But I wanted a Pinsir, and since it was steel-blue I did everything I could to get it.
The second shiny I met was an Kadabra, but it was dark and I didnt realize what it was until it teleported away, so I didnt have a chanse to capture it anyway. I felt bad, I really wanted it. Also in Silver.
My third shiny was the red Graveler I found in one of the caves below BlackThorn city. I eventually evolved it to Golem later on, before duplicating it. I think it was from either Crystal or Silver...
My fourth shiny was an Igglybuff from that weird egg in Crystal, I evolved it to Jigglypuff and wont do anything more untill I duplicate it!
And ofcourse the red Gyarados, but I got my Pinsir before that one.

First shiny I've ever caught was in Ruby. A Shining Zubat, of which I nicknamed Z. Though, I had borrowed Crystal from a friend and had hatched a Shiny Elekid for him, of which I think I nicknamed "Zapper", or something.

Metal Games: Aside from the Red Gyarados [who I caught before I caught my first wild Shiny], my first ever Wild Shiny was a Golden Caterpie. She's now a Pink Butterfree on my Crystal Game named Papillon.

Advanced Games: My very first Shiny was a Shiny Doduo that I encountered in the Safari Zone. Her name is Velocity and she's currently on my LeafGreen game where all my other Shinies are...

metal games: excluding red gyrados, I caugh one shining sneasel, it´s my favorite shining pokémon that I have.

Advanced games: qwilfish in colosseum... traded with one shining rapidash.

In Silver, I was leaving a cave (Mt. Mortar, I think) when I found and caught a shiny Rhyhorn. As far as I remember, that's the only shiny Pokémon I've ever encountered (excluding the Gyarados, of course) during all the time I've been playing G/S/C.

My ver first shiny was the Red Gyarados. :\ But excluding it, my first was a Pidgey on my second Crystal file. My first shiny in R/S/E/FR/LG was a Dodou that I caught in Leaf Green's Safari Zone.

This really hurts to finally tell people...

The sad, sad story of me and my shining ditto:

I had beaten the pokemon league and some of the battle frontier, but I became bored and wanted to start again on leaf green - but this time, with the entire set of my favourite team, and the nature's I wanted. Now I figured that the best way to get whatever nature I wanted on whatever pokemon was to catch a ditto of every nature (in the desert underpass) and give them an everstone whenever I wanted to breed a pokemon with a specific nature. I spent about a week collecting all different dittos, until one day, while searching for an adamant nature, I came across it: A SHINING DITTO. I watched in awe as it transformed into a SHINY copy of my breloom. So I immediately switched in manectric, paralyzed it and began to strike at it with my weakest attacks. Soon it was down to red, and (as ditto's aren't that tough to catch), I caught it with the first ultra ball! I couldn't believe it: after three complete games of pokemon, my first shiny; not only that, but with it I could view the shinies of every other pokemon.

Quicky I finished up my nature breeding, and, having arranged my new team, set off to defeat the pokemon league one last time before I traded them (and my ditto, of course) onto another cartridge. I wasted sidney and phoebe, and spent the rest of the evening beating glacia (who I always had bad luck with) and lance.

The next morning, I thought it'd be awesome to play the champion battle on my gamecube (using the gameboy-gamecube lin cable). So, after a few tries, I brought him down using my whole team; I was so happy. I had just beat the pokemon league AGAIN, arranged my perfect team for the next game and caught my first shiny. But how was I to know just how grave those two words at the end of the credits really were? "THE END"

The intro scene ran through again.

I pressed the start button.

The following message came up:

"The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage..."

My first Shiny was a maroon Wurmple in my Ruby. It's now a Dustox with red wings.

My first were of corse, the shiny gyarados from g/s/c. I found shiny magikarp in front of the dragon's den, but couldn't catch it. I also have shiny ditto on that game too.

Advanced Generation: My first shiny ever on these games was a shiny tentacool, bashful nature, forgot the level. Caught on route 118, east of mauville in the water, which was the exact same place where I caught my first Latias as well.

I never caught or saw a shiny Pokemon before(excluding the Gyarados which i always named Storm) ._. ...But my damned little brother got a shiney Bagon which he evolved into a shiney Shelgon. Then, after a while, he goes and restarts his game without saving the Shelgon. >_<

My first and only shiney is a Red Gyrados on Silver. My friend saw a shining Dodrio in the safari zone, omg, and acidentally ran away. I'm so desparate I'll even take a shining Wurmple!

I found a shining Magicarp in my Red game... I was really proud of it... Than along came the common scum of the Red Gyarados!

My first shiny was an Oddish from my Sapphire version. (Excluding the Red Gyarados from Silver) Then I caught a shiny Wailmer, and then caught a shiny Geodude on Fire red. (Who is now a Golem.) And believe it or not, I caught a shiny Skarmory on Pokemon Colosseum. So now my shiny team consists of: Gloom, Wailmer, Golem, and Skarmory. Pretty sad, eh?

First was a Shiny Sandshrew in Crystal. I had no idea what "da stars" meant at first, but I caught it anyway.

The other shines I have are...
On silver I had Gyrados, And a Pink Crobat.
On My current games I have a Shiny Makuhita, Bagon, Relicanth and Steelix. I have also seen a Green Salalmence on Emerald in the battle tower.
Also in Leaf Green in that building that had 8 levels in which you had to fight your way up... there were a load of shiny pokemon. There was a Shiny Espeon.
