i was in oreburgh gate b1F i used surf and i found a shiny psyduck i thought the color was different because the place was different which makes me didn't catch it

Shiny female Shinx in one of the beginner routes in Platinum, but I ended up selling that game :/

When I was playing through gold, I found a shiny hoothoot, wich I was so happy with, cause you know, ash had one etc ^^ ( well a noctowl, but I obviously evolved mine :p )

I mind walking through Route 33 and finding a green Hoppip on my first Heart Gold play through. Surprising stuff.

Still to check that thing's IV's though.

Well, not completely random, but totally unexpected. I was chaining Pachirisu at Valley Windworks in my Pearl, and I walked into another pretty normal looking patch of grass from what I remember, when the chain was 8, and then boom... shiny Pachirisu!
