• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

What 'bout My Star?
When I graduate from university in April, I begin working at the Bank of Canada, Canada's monetary policy authority and leading economic researcher. As an economist I am beyond stoked to start. Probably go for my MA in Economics or my MBA after my stint is over. Hopefully I'll be able to work for the Fed someday.

I definitely aim to be the very best writer like no one ever was. Assuming that I eventually can make a living off of it, I have yet to decide on my side job. Maybe a microbiologist of sorts or an actor. Who knows what lies ahead.

At least you have a plan. Don't lose hope, and maybe something even better might come your way. Think realistically, but never let your deepest goals go.

Currently studying Spanish Language, Literacy, and Cultural studies for use in Elementary Education. It's an uncomfortably long name for a major.
But essentially I am going to be an Elementary Teacher for a Bilingual School.

I'm an agent for Interpol where I specialize in environmental crimes. Focused primarily on targeting illegal hunting done to endangered animal species. It is quite a rewarding career.

Similar to this. In college ATM, studying to become a Nurse. Than hoping to eventually go back to school after a bit to get my Bachelors than head to med school.

I have no idea. I wish I thought about it more before I got my bachelor's degree. Now I don't know if I want to teach, or if I want to start all over and go into art/animation. I wish things were more clear.
