The world of Terro is a land of peace. Centenaries ago, the Shadow Warriors fought off the great evil known as Dantus who threatened the planet with his armies of goblins, and since then, the world has lived in harmony. The many species, including humans, elves, dwarfs, sandmen, mermaids and magic-folk, all live together in perfect happiness. The goblins, however, swore their allegiance to Dantus, the great shadow dragon, and so were banished to the dark lands of Laddarnk to the north where they squabble among themselves, not caring for the other creatures of Terro.

Since the Shadow Warriors fought off Dantus, it became tradition for all species to raise their children with the power to command their shadow Guardians. With all the land having this power, if Dantus, locked in the eternal darkness of his shadows, were to ever return, the people of Terro would be able to fight back. However, after ages passed and with Dantus presumed dead, the people stopped training their children to master the power and slowly but surely, people even forgot the power existed. Only few people, who trained in secret for fear of being treated as outcasts, still had the power to command their guardian shadow.

At around the same time, the goblins found the answer they had been searching for. They found a way to free Dantus and have revenge on the people who had drove them away. With Dantus free, they most elite goblins were taught to command their shadows from Dantus himself and slowly, Dantus had an army big enough to take Terro for himself. As Dantus, his goblin armies and his elite shadow warriors attacked the towns and villages of Terro, the people were forced back, away from their homes. The Sandmen were driven away from their deserts, the Mermaids were forced to use magic and grow legs to leave their seas, the elves made to leave their forests, the dwarves from their mountains, the magic-folk and the humans, all were either killed or had fled to make one last stand at the last castle of Terro. The last remaining Shadow Warriors fought but could not stand up to the power of Dantus and his elites.

On the south of the only continent, Alexandria was the last stronghold for the people of Terro. In the final moments of the great battle, a Guardian Shadow was summoned from the heavens and helped the people of Terro. The goblins fled and the Elites were forced back to Castle Cample, only a few miles from Alexandria. In the heat of the battle, the leaders of Terro have asked for any remaining Shadow Warriors to speak up and help protect Terro from Dantus. You need to go out onto the front of the battle and use Your Guardian Shadow.

Species

Humans: Pretty self explanatory, the most dominant species on Terro owning the most land. There are more humans than any other species at the Battle of Alexandria. They can fight with a variety of weapons but do not have any magical powers. They also don't have the speed of Elves or the strength of Dwarves. Use your imagination fro this one, they can be mercenaries, thieves, all round heroes, whatever.

Elves: Elves come in two forms. The Forest Elves and the Winter Elves. The Winter Elves live on a remote island off the north coast of Terro called the North Pole. It is locked in an eternal winter and is home to great wizard known as Father Christmas. He mutated Forest Elves to make Winter elves who usually work for him. Winter Elves are much smaller than Forest Elves and dislike fighting. There are no great leaders fro the Winter Elves and they have no trademark weapon. Forest elves live in forest settlements, the most famous being in Kokako Forest. They have adapted much more for fighting and are much taller in size. They favour using the bow as their preferred weapon. Both breeds have acute hearing and are very fast. They live for thousands of years and have excellent eyesight. They are also great friends with the animals (who, incidentally, can talk in this RP)

Dwarves: Dwarves live in the mountains, digging for gold and having wild parties. They do not grow very tall but live for centuries. They are incredibly strong and hardworking. When in battle, they wear thick armour and usually fight with an axe. The female Dwarves have beards and do not shave as the males find it attractive. Social status has changed with dwarves in the last 600 years and the females are the dominant gender, being the hardest working and having the largest muscles. Most of the Dwarf leaders are female.

Sandmen: Only male, they are born from the sand weed, a special plant that grows deep within the desert. They are giants, the average standing over 9 feet tall. Their skin is made of pure sand but is held together with some unseen force. They move very slowly but are excellent tank like creatures when in battle. They usually wear clothes in the same style as humans.

Mermaid: Only female. Mermaids are a genetic disease that occurs in humans meaning every now and again, a human is born as a mermaid. There tails vary from any type of fish found in the sea including sharks, jellyfish, squid, electric eels ect. They move of land with a special drink, which allows them to change from having a tail to having legs for a short period of time. They favour using tridents as their weapons and have the power to use magic. They can swim as 100 knots making them very useful allies when crossing water.

Magic-Folk: Literally Witches, Wizards and Warlocks. In the same way Mermaids are born from a genetic disease in humans, Magic-Folk are born from a genetic disease in all humans, elves and dwarves. They are able to create the four elements and perform healing spells. Witches have the power of slight on broomsticks, Wizards are more adapt for fighting and Warlocks are a mixture of the two. They can fly on pitchforks but not at the speed or height as Witches, they are also decent fighters but Wizards are stronger.

Villages and Settlements

Alexandria: (South of Terro)A large, hustling city with a giant, white castle as the centre. It is home to all species of people but mostly humans. It is rare to find Sandmen and Mermaids here but it has recently become common due to the war. Alexandria has a port for ships setting off to the south and is home to many famous people. It is rules by King Bathe who rules with kindness and just.

Castle Cample: (Just North of Alexandria) A small village with a smaller castle at the heart. It is home to both humans and dwarves, with a secret tunnel leading from under the castle to the Gold Mountain ranges off to the east. It is a farming village supplying most of Alexandria with it's vegetables and meat. It used to be ruled by both King Bathe of Alexandria and Queen Drafff of the Gold Mountains.

Gold Mountains: (West-Coast of Terro) These mountain ranges stretch across the western coast of Terro. They are home to the dwarves and are rich in metal ores. However, the name does not come from the gold within the mountains, as there is relatively little gold inside but from the tips of the mountains. At sunrise and sunset, the tops of the mountains that are covered in snow, glow gold for some unknown reason. The golden tops can be seen from miles around and it has been ancient mythology that a golden dragon lives atop the mountain and has laid it’s eggs a that mountain peaks. However, this is an unconfirmed rumour that was probably made to scare the dwarves’ children from climbing to the mountain peaks. Queen Drafff rules the dwarves with kindness and compassion, something almost unheard of in dwarves.

Marshlands: (Slightly east of centre Terro) These marshes are home to the Mermaids with an underground route to the eastern sea. It is home to rich wildlife, all of who can talk, and has a temple at the centre where the mermaids worship the great sea gods. It is not inhabited by any other species.

Kokako Forest: (East-Coast of Terro) The last remaining home of the Forest Elves. It is a rich forest home to much wildlife just like the Marshlands. The elves live high up in the trees to protect them whilst they sleep. The leader of Kokako Forest is the high elf known as Lord Sola and rules with peace.

Desert Coast: (North-East of Terro) Home to the Sandmen, this desert stretches out from the centre of Terro to the north-east coast where it becomes a clean sandy beach. Hardly anything grows here however there is plenty of wildlife that has adapted to life in the harsh desert. It is a harsh land where only the fittest survive.
Laddarnk: (North-East of Terro) Home of Dantus, the shadow dragon, and his Goblins. It is a land full of Goblin mud-huts and giant towers built for Dantus’ elites. Few plants grow here and the air is thick of poisoning gasses, making it difficult to breathe. A thick cloud making little distinction between day and night covers it.

North Pole (Island of the North-Coast of Terro) Home of Father Christmas and the Winter Elves. It is a place that is rarely visited by the people from Terro’s main continent. The people of Terro receive presents once a year from Father Christmas and his elves as a sign of joy and good will to all. Father Christmas is the ruler of this small island and sits as chairman of the Magic Circle, a group of the most powerful magic folk in Terro.

Guardian Shadow:
Guardian Shadows are what a person’s soul looks like when it is summoned. They are formed from the person’s shadow and take a full 3 dimensional shape, black with some dark shades of colour. A Guardian Shadow is called upon by the summoner bending down on one knee and muttering the words, “former min beskytterskygge”. They can take the shape of any creature but usually a powerful beast is formed. Eg. A wolf, giant bird, snake ect.

For this RP, there are two rules for Guardian Shadows. The first is that you may not have the same as someone else, that’ll be just annoying in the RP so once people start signing up, I will make a list of the guardians already taken. The second is that no one may have a dragon as their Guardian Shadow as, unless you haven’t guessed already, Dantus’ shadow is a Dragon. The Elite’s shadows will be determined once I have enough people so that doesn’t matter at the moment.

Guardian Shadows already taken
1) Dragon (Dantus)
2) Tyrannosaurus Rex (Bulk aka Bulk Tribal)
3) Golem (Lemurian aka Alexhaur Kraft)
4) Nine-Tailed-Fox (Nylf aka Kitsusanoo Shippo)
5) Griffin (~*Ratiosu*~ aka Kiona Anderthaw)
6) Hydra (cdra1617 aka Litera Dreha)
7) Giant Mouse (Jack Russell aka Jaden Mui)
8) Wolf (Tiana M aka Tiana Morenza)
9) Cheetah (Silver Cat aka Dazzmin Okona)

Guardian Shoadows owned by Dantus' Elites
1) Giant Gorrila (Elite Beck)
2) Pheonix (Elite Farr)
3) Centaur (Elite Manni)
4) Giant Jellyfish (Elite Shif)
5) Giant Praying-Mantus (Elite Razor)

~~~
On a side note, I wish this to be a relatively small RP, with only 5-6 other people included. I’ve been in RP’s with lots of people and it just gets confusing so defiantly no more than 6.
Lady Myuu's Opposite
Name: Alexhaur Kraft
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Species: Sandmen
Description: Alexander is a bit tall ( even for a Sandman ) and is strongly built. His arm-muscles are thick and are trained and shaped to fight with. His sandy face is nicely decorated with a pair of crimson eyes and a small and often smiling mouth. His long legs are covered in a pair of dark-yellow leather-pants and his upper body is covered in a hooded, thin white sweather, also in leather. His feet are guarded with a pair of steel-tipped boots. On his arms are two copper bracelets.
Personality: Alex is a smiling and friendly young man who in all his training still haven't lost all of his good sense of humor. He likes company and takes good care of his friends. He is a very loyal companion, but he hates to be tricked. He has a very good memory and he will never forget what is done to him or anyone around him.
History: Alexhaur was brought up by a pair of Guards near the desert oasis in the outer part of the desert, where most visitors from the other countries stopped. The two Guards trained him how to be a Guard, like themselves and one day when one of them was escorting a special caravan to the next oasis and the other was patrolling nearby, a strange group of people came, of all species. The strange thing about them was that they came by foot, and from the inner of the desert. Alexhaur kept a close eye on them the whole time they were there, and one full-moon night, he noticed them sneaking off into a small crevice nearby. He followed them and witnessed them training a couple of children into summoning shadows that formed into creatures. He was found, but the teachers decided not to punish him, but instead teach him the art. So, they stayed by the oasis a couple of months and when they left, Alexhaur had learned most of the art about summoning the Shadow Guardians. When the effects from Dantus made themselves visible, he had to flee together with the others.
Guardian Shadow: Alexhaur's Guardian Shadow takes the form of a Golem, a big titan made of earth and rock.
Final Fantasy: A Changed World said:
The person, Gareth leaned back in a chair while Alexander checked his new appearance in a mirror. He had shrunk to half of the size, he'd been and was dressed up in brown rouch leather-clothing. Two empty gun-holsters were still on a chair. "Amnesia, huh?" Gareth said, while thoughtfully nibbling an apple. "That's bad. That normal, Mia?" He turned towards the Viera, as they called the bunny-woman. The healer, or White Mage, shook her head. "Not at all." she said. "He might have experienced a kind of curse and left to die in the Jagd." Gareth nodded for himself.
Suddenly, a yawn was heard from the door-opening. It was a light brown-skinned old figure with some strange red clothes. Gareth rose up. "Ah yes." he said. "Alexander," Alexander had told them his name. "meet our Alchemist and only Nu Mou, Piers. Piers, this is Alexander Bolt, Gunner. He's got amnesia. Found him outside." The Nu Mou nodded and hummed. "Okay." he said and left. Mia rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, he doesn't say much." Then the green Moogle Ivan appeared again. "Breakfast!...or lunch. Or whatever. Food atleast." he announced. "I'll tell James." Then he disappeared, as quickly as he showed up.
The food wasn't bad. It was simple and not exactly tasteful food. "Lemme see...bread, some Chocobo milk, apples and...where's the drink? Are we out?" Gareth counted the wares as he sat down. Ivan nodded and sat down as well. "Yeah, we've gotta get more soon." Gareth shook his head. "For that, we need money." Alexander joined into the conversation as he took a small slice of bread. "Money problems?" Gareth nodded grimly. "Some blokes down in Sphrom got the idea of us being the ones helping some guy out of jail." he said. "So now, we can't show up on any missions without the judges following us. The Judges are the law-keepers here in Ivalice." He added as Alexander looked confused. "Here in the Jagd, laws doesn't count, so we're safe. Isaac keeps us supported. He's a Hunter who helps us with missions and money. Nice guy, you might meet him soon."
Suddenly, another Moogle, probably the one they called James, turned up. "Alexander, was it?" he said, shaking hands with Alexander. "I've got something in my smithy that's yours." Gareth broke in. "James is our handyman, inventor and Gadgeteer. He found the contents of your gun-holsters beside you and brought them with him to fix 'em."
Alexander bit thoughtfully in another thin piece of bread before swallowing it with this sweet Chocobo-milk. Suddenly, Piers appeared in the door leading out. "The Emissiaries!" he shouted, alarmed. "They are coming!" Mia looked pale. Both Moogles facefaulted. Gareth stood up. "Oh no..." he exclaimed. "How many?" Piers shook his head. "They're all six! Armed and everything." Gareth muttered a few words Alexander guessed were curses. "And we're only five." Alexander counted the people around them...Mia, Gareth, Ivan, James and Piers. But... "I can help!" he said.
Other: He is afraid of fire in all kinds.
BTW, it's "Form min beskytterskygge".
Can I reserve a spot? My Guardian Shadow will be a 9 Tailed Kitsune.
His other will be he can use some kitsune powers on his own, namely fox fire and illusions. So my character will be an elf. His name's Kitsusanoo Shippo, or Kit for short.
Also, can my character have a zweihander sword despite being an elf? Can't stand bow combat myself. In fact I only really know about Zweihander style.
Name: Kiona Anderthaw
Age: 13
Gender: female
Species: Mermaid (though she's not fully one yet)
Description: Kiona's got long back-length black hair with several blue highlights in it. Her hair is completely straight (even when she wakes up, it's like it's a supernatural force =P). She has deep blue eyes which seem like she's always got something on her mind. Most people think she's worried or troubled when they watch her.
Kiona wears a pink tanktop with red butterflies all over it, and two small short strings that come only around 3 inches off of her shirt. She also wears blue jeans with white spots in the middle, and white sneakers. Her skin is Caucasian.
Personality: Kiona likes to interact with people, and she has a very fun time with other kids. However she can quickly become embarrased or frightened and disappear suddenly (no, not disappear, just like run away). She (like above) always seems worried or troubled but she really loves life and lives it to the fullest.
When in a fight, Kiona does the best she can and always has a large amount of confidence, even though she thinks that what's happening to her (see history) is really weird (but fun!).
History:
On the day of her 13th birthday, Kiona went swimming for no particular reason at all. She likes it, what can I say? Alexendria is a nice place ^_^ Anyways, she went swimming with some of her friends like Jeremy and other peoples, and all of a sudden she felt this tingling sensation on her arms. She looked at them and saw she had grown (surprise surprise) grayish-blue scales! They were on her hands and she had small beginnings of fins on her arms. She went home at once and asked what was happening and her parents said that maybe, like her grandma, she was a mermaid.
Kiona didn't exactly take this the best way in the world, she almost fainted in fact. She had to go up to her room and think for a while, looking over her scales and fins and wondering why did she have to be this weird monster thing? It made no sense!
The fins and scales went away really quickly though, and so Kiona decided to try swimming again (mainly because Jeremy was there). It happened once more, and she didn't tell her parents cause they would just act all surprised and call her grandma over to "train" her.
They went away though, but then she discovered she could electricute things! All she had to do was put her fingers close to each other and concentrate and there was the electricity. This came in quite useful in toasting toast with her broken toaster.
Anyways, so she started swimming again since she wanted to see what this was all about. She ran back home with the fact that her legs had shifted into seperate parts of a mermaid tail. So I guess you could say she wasn't running very well =P
Soon enough she shifted into a full mermaid, and gained the ability to breathe underwater. At will she can turn herself human again, but prefers to stay underwater for the most part.
Guardian Shadow: Kiona's Guardian Shadow looks like a griffin. It's a purple griffin (obviously) with a black underbelly and arms. This is the most accurate picture I can find of a griffin:
Ninetales jerked out of her trance unwillingly. <Celebi was right, there's no way we can get through to them. There's got to be something we can do that can temporarily override Celebi's powers. Every Pokemon has a fall; even Aurlia. No offense,> she remarked. <But Celebi muust be able to be defeated somehow.>
Kit stopped trying to channel Lugia as she sensed it wasn't working, and nodded. "Yeah...OK."
Aurija spoke up. <I still exist, you know.>
"Aurija! You had been so quiet, I hadn't noticed you."
<Ooh gee, thanks. I feel real loved.>
Everyone looked at her weirdly. "Who are you talking to?"
"Aurija. She's telling me she still exists."
Ninetales rolled her eyes. <She's always been one for sarcasm.>
"So...Aurija, do you have any idea of how we're going to be able to defeat Celebi?" Kit asked, happy to have someone to talk to.
<Honestly, no. I really don't want to bust your...OK, well, maybe I do. But I don't know.>
"OH LOOK, A PRETTY BUTTERFLY!"
<Uh-huh. The attention span of a squirrel.>
Kit stopped chasing the butterfly and sighed. "Yeah, I've got to pull myself together. OK...let's think about how we can free Lugia and Ho-oh. All we are is a bunch of kids with some super-powerful legendaries in our heads, and bunches of Pokemon plus Leta's...where is Leta anyway? Oh there she is!"
Kit ran over to Leta, then looked at David, who apparently had just woken up. "YO! LUGIA AND HO-OH ARE TRAPPED BY CELEBI! WAKE UP!"
<Real mature, Kit.>
Other: N/A.
Just so you get an idea of what I will be in the RP. I say go for it! Yes, I like the 13th year (the movie). It was good.
Nylf - Reserved yes, you can be an elf and have a sword.
EDIT: Just to make things slightly clearer for both me and anyone else, could Lemurian please supply a picture of the Golem his Guardian Shadow will look like? It's not a massive problem if you can't but it'd be slightly helpful. Thanks.
If there are any more spots open, I'd like to be a part of this.
Name: Amavlin Cayras
Age: ...22 i suppose (can we make this up??)
Gender: Female
Species: Magic Folk--Witch
Description: Amavlin has a quiet beauty about her. She has long, curly brown hair with white highlights here and there. She has deep sea-blue eyes. She's about 5'5" to 5'6". She has pale white skin.
Personality: She's very quiet and very smart. She is one of the most brilliant witches there are. Especially when you consider her age. She knows a lot of advanced magic and can heal almost anything.
History:
One day 8 years ago, while wondering in the forest near Castle Cample, Amavlin found a small child. The small child was hurt badly by who knows what and wasn't going to be able to make it back to the Castle in time. Amavlin somehow called to an unknown strength inside of her to heal the child's gastly wounds. The wounds magically healed and the small child got up and ran away with pure terror in his eyes. Amavlin sat back, stunned.
"What's going on?" she wondered. "What happened? How did I heal him?" Suddenly an old man stepped out from behind some trees and looked at her for a long time.
"So...you're a witch? Well...I'm a warlock, and I'll teach you all you need to know about magic." He grabbed her up, set her on a broom, and flew her to a cave in the side of a mountain. "Here, I will teach you all the magic there is to know."
"What makes you so sure I want to know magic," said Amavlin for the first time since the forest. "Maybe I want to stay normal."
"I know you do because I did when I was your age. Now sit down, shut up, and prepare to learn."
So Amavlin learned magic for the past 8 years and has pogressed almost past the old warlock. She visited him 3 out of 7 days in the week. The other 4 she spent with her family whom she had to hide her powers from since they were strongly against oddities in the world. Her mother and father go to Alexandria often and usually take Amavlin's little sister with them.
Amavlin found her Guardian Shadow only one year ago. She was practicing her water magic near a large body of water very hard as she wanted to prefect it. She called down to the depths of her soul to bring out all of her power and muttered the words told to her by her warlock master. "Former min beskytterskygge." She felt something new and completely strange. She turned around and there in the water was her shadow guardian in all of its huge, blue glory. They have trained together ever since. ^_^
Guardian Shadow: Her guardian is an ancient sea serpent. Here is a picture of what it would look similar to. It would be a dark bluegreen with tinges of brown and black here and there.
Edit: Here and here are some other good pictures of Amavlin's shadow guardian.
RP Sample: I'm afraid I haven't done any RPing before. I've been wanting to, but I haven't. I was hoping to start here if I could.
Other: Among her powers, healing and power over light and water are her two greatest attributes. She also dislikes spiders. Why? She just does.
P.S. to Bulk: Are there sorcerers in your world/story?
Also, with the Guardian Shadow, do our characters become the Guardian shadow, or is it a seperate beast entirely from our characters?
Silver Cat - denied BUT it's only because your description and personality are too short and you have no RP Sample. If you've never RPed before, just make something up. You could say how you got to the battle of Alexandria and what's happening for you in the battle at the moment.
Also, to answer your questions, there will be no sorcerers as Shadow Warriors are litterally sorcerers and you're Guardian Shadow IS your shadow. I probably should've explaned this a bit better but what happens is your shadow grows and lifts out of the ground, forming the shape of the beast you desire. It can only be summoned by talking to your soul, as your soul and shadow are linked. Guardian Shadows, however, are fully 3D and can be touched, even ridden.
Hope that helps.
EDIt: I will post my sign up later.
Sorry for the Double post but I thought I've just post my sign up and, I don't mean to nag, but could the people who have reserved places complete their sign up forms as soon as possible so we can get this started as soon as possible. Thanks.
Name: Bulk Tribal
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Description: Bulk stands around 6' tall and is well built. He usually wears the armour worn by any general of Alexandria, light metal under layers with hard, steel covers. In battle, Bulk hardly ever removes his helmet to reveal his long, thick, brown hair. He has a short beard and deep, blue eyes. His preferred weapon is a sword but he does carry a set of knives with him, just encase.
Personality: Bulk is friendly to people who are friendly to him. He will always be the first person to do something good and always sets a good example to his followers. He is both a good team leader and a good team worker. During battle, Bulk will always risk his own life for someone else’s.
History: Bulk is one of King Bathe's greatest warriors and has always had close relations with the king. He never knew his father and his mother has always lived in Alexandria. Bulk was taken under the wing of the King himself after Dantus started attacking and it was him who trained him to be a Shadow Warrior. He has made many friends all over Alexandria but has never been further out than Castle Cample. His first assignment as a solider was to defend Castle Cample with a small arm of only 300 strong, whereas Dantus had over 3000. Bulk showed extreme courage and commitment and held off the armies until reinforcements arrived from the Gold Mountains, who ultimately saved the day. Since then, Bulk rose to the rank of commanding officer and left Castle Cample ordering a retreat too all remaining troops as the city was lost. At this last stand, Bulk is not only one of the Shadow Warriors but also an officer for over 1000 men on the front line.
Guardian Shadow: Bulk's Guardian Shadow is a prehistoric Tyrannosaurus Rex. It’s scales are a dark, coal colour and it's eyes are bright green. It has enormous teeth and can be ridden by Bulk if necessary.
RP Sample:
Bulk in "Pokemon Can Talk!?!?!" said:
With the wind rushing through his hair, Bulk raced across Kanto's lush forests riding, his beloved companion, Arcanine. The warm summer sun was high above them, with the heat beating down on both of them. Arcanine was panting as they raced along the forest path and Bulk was having to grip quite tightly to avoid falling off. The thick, fur coat of Arcanine made the perfect seat, cushioning Bulk as Arcanine sped on. The trainer and his Pokemon came to a clearing just north of Vermilion City with a small pool of water. Bulk leaned closer to Arcanine's ear and spoke to him.
"We'll stop here for a drink," he said, lifting his head back to gain upright position.
"Good idea," said Arcanine and Arcanine slowed down until he had stopped in front of the pool. Bulk slid off Arcanine and wiped his head with his sweat-band. Both Arcanine and himself, bent down to drink from the pool. After Bulk was replenished, he stood up and walked a few paces from Arcanine, who was gulping down huge amounts of water. Bulk looked over towards the south and saw Vermilion City, just 200 yards off. He turned to Arcanine, who had just finished drinking, and went over to him.
"We're almost there," he said, softly. "Then it's just a short trip on a boat and then we'll find out what all this madness is really all about."
"You know," spoke Arcanine. "It's not too late to turn back. This isn't going to be easy, Bulk. If you don't want to, we'll go back."
"Well, it'd be nice to let this go but we have to do something." Bulk turned from his friend and picked up a small pebble. "If we don't do something, who will? there are so many selfish people in this world, all wishing to be the Pokemon Champion that most people will probably just blame this whole incident on the authorities." Bulk skimmed the stone across the water, where it sunk after 4 jumps. He turned back to Arcanine. "Your right, it isn't going to be easy but it has to be done."
Arcanine nodded. He understood. He turned to allow Bulk to mount him but Bulk stopped half way.
"What is it?" the Pokemon asked, turning to look at the pool.
Out of no where, a Poliwhirl had jumped out of the pool and was attacking.
"Time for a bit of fun, don't you think?" said Bulk, smirking.
He pulled out a Pokeball from his belt and threw it at the ground. Arcanine, realising this wasn't his battle, stepped behind his trainer.
"Go, Munchlax!" yelled Bulk.
The Pokeball opened, spraying light in all directions. The light subsided and Munchalx was standing there.
"MUNCHLAX!" it shouted, in high, childish voice. With the battle ready to go, the Poliwhirl charged at Munchlax, holding it's fist out, ready to Focus Punch the enemy. The Poliwhirl came closer until it was it striking distance.
"Munchlax, Thunder Punch!" screamed Bulk.
There was a flash of light and when Bulk looked down to see what had happened, Munchlax was standing with the Poliwhirl lying on the floor, defeated.
"Well done Munchlax, your getting better everyday," said Bulk, tickling Munclax under the chin.
"Thanks," giggled Munclax. "Now, if you don't mind, I was in the middle of a nap when you called me so I'd like to return to that now."
"Of course," smiled Bulk. "Munchlax, return."
There was a swirl of light and Bulk placed the Pokeball back in his utility belt. He then turned to Arcanine who was smiling.
"What are you so happy about," questioned Bulk.
"Ah nothing," said Arcanine. "They just grow up so fast."
Bulk got onto Arcanine and the beast sped off, leaving the clearing and the Poliwhirl behind them. With Vermilion City growing ever closer, Bulk was happy. He had the perfect Pokemon, ready for anything. It was time to put an end to the suffering of millions of Pokemon and hundreds of trainers. They sped on out of the forest, slowing down as they entered the city.
Arcanine came to a trotting pace as they passed the houses, marts and pokemon centre of Vermilion City. They stopped off at one of the marts to pick up some Pokeballs, Revives and Potions and then headed down towards the port, with the S.S. Anne looming in front of them. Arcanine turned right leading the way to part of the port with a small fishing boat tied to the jetty. A young man was tying up some nets and tidying up his rusty, ancient boat. He saw Bulk and Arcanine come into view and waved to them.
"Bulk!" he shouted. "Come on down, we're almost ready to set off."
Arcanine came along side the boat and Bulk slid off. He patted Arcanine on the back, thanking him for taking him the long way.
"Thanks, Arcanine," he whispered in the dog's ear. "It'd taken me days to get here on my own. I'm going to retreat you know so you can have some rest, ok?"
"Thanks, I need some sleep," said Arcanine, stepping back so Bulk would have a clear view to place him back in his ball. Bulk stood back and took a pokeball from his belt. He held it up in his right hand. The fisherman seemed to be caught up in his own work and wasn't paying much attention to Bulk or Arcanine.
"Arcanine, return," said Bulk. The usual light flashed about and Bulk replaced the pokeball back on his belt.
"Well then, are you sure about this, Bulk?" questioned the fisherman.
"Look, Dave," said Bulk. "I've given it loads of thought and it just seems like the right thing to do. Anyway, there's not really much point in turning back now."
"Suppose," said Dave, taking off his sailors cap and fanning it in front of his face. It was midday so the heat was getting to everyone. "Well, there seems to be no stopping you know. If you could untie the painter and hop aboard then, we'll set off."
Bulk, did as he was instructed. He bent down and untied the painter, brushing off a small Staryu into the cool water below. He jumped on board with the rope and Dave started the engine. The boat turned out to sea and Bulk climbed down onto the deck, flinging the painter to the side. They set out of the port with Vermilion coast stretched out behind them. In the distance they could see Cinnabar Island, behind that, the small outlines of Hoenn and even further out, the glimmering sparkle of the Steel Gate. They were travelling around 30 knots, with the wind rushing through Bulk's hair.
As the journey progressed, the two cousins talked on about family life and reminiscing past times. They slowly passed Cinnabar Island, waving to the islanders. Later on, they passed Pacifidlog Town causing an uproar with their wash spilling over the floating rafters as they passed. They quickly sped on to avoid any trouble. They were just passing Dewford Town when Dave turned to Bulk.
"Now, Bulk," he said. "I want you to listen to me. This is going to be difficult for you. After all, you do only have two Pokemon and, although they are rather strong, my father (your uncle) and I don't feel that you’re going to survive like that. So, we want you to have this."
Dave handed Bulk a pokeball.
"It's my father's Sneasle," he said. "It's the only Pokemon we managed to rescue from the PokeTalk but somehow, she still managed to speak. It's very odd but, still, we feel she'll help you. She's strong, around the same level as your Arcanine and she'll do anything you ask of her."
Bulk tried to give the pokeball back, thrusting it into Dave's hands saying, "No. I couldn't possibly take your last remaining Pokemon, after such a disaster."
"Bulk. Listen to me," Dave persisted. "If you succeed on this quest, we'll get all our Pokemon back and we have faith that your going to succeed. Please, don't argue, you know it's for the best as well."
Dave gave the pokeball back to Bulk who, resisting, placed the pokeball on his belt. He turned to his cousin and after a few seconds, embraced him.
"Thank you," he said, with a slight tear in his eye. The two ended the hug and turned to see it. The huge Steel Gate looming ahead of them.
"Well," said Dave. "Good luck! Although you probably don’t need it," he said with a smile on his face."
"Thanks," said Bulk, releasing Arcanine from his pokeball. The beast stretched out, Bulk climbed on and turned to Dave. "Oh yes, and don't worry about coming back for me. I'll find a water Pokemon, somewhere, who'll ferry me across the water. Bye then." With these closing words, Arcanine ran to the end of the boat, turned and ran back to the front at great speed. He reached the front of the boat and jumped off, propelling himself into the air and leaping over the water to the dry beach, that was the new region. Bulk turned and waved to Dave who was already starting up his engines. He retuned the wave and sped off back towards Vermilion.
This was it then. This was where Bulk's quest would truly begin. He had three, strong Pokemon with him and was ready for anything. He had enough pokeballs to help him catch more Pokemon and he had his Pokedex ready to research any new breeds he might find. The thoughts of his mother came to him and his passion to help rid the world of this evil was now stronger than ever. It was time for Bulk to become the master he had always dreamed of being.
Jayko stood up groggily and watched the suns first light barely forming in the distance. He then strecthed and changed into his armour, as his job demanded. Jayko stepped into the kitchen to his wife had as usual prepared his breakfast. "Hey Jayko you've got mail but all I can't make heads or tails of it." She held out her hand offering The letter to Jayko who grabbed it and thanked her as she scuttled back to the bedroom to go back to bed.
He unfolded the letter and knew just how right his wife was. He was certain it was some ancient runes. "Bizarre letters." He muttered to himself. Then he held it up to a torch hoping the light would hold a clue and it did. Most of the paper didn't brighten in the light but that which did showed something he found very interesting because going on a left-right daigonal were lit up runes that looked like the letters W-I-N-D-F-A-L-L and from the rune that looked like an more runes similar to letters showed up S-L-A-N-D and at the bottom were to runes that looked like animals. One looked like a horse and the other like a bull's head.
He pondered over the strange message for 5 minutes before he realized that it looked like it had said Windfall Island and the Horse was Kentis's favourite animal while Adric's was the bull. He realized it had been fifteen long years since he saw the two and decided to leave a note and head to Windfall Island and his friends. So without thinking twice as he believed the grounds upon his decision were adamant he wrote a short loving goodbye to his wife and left with the wind rocketing him towards Windfall Island.
Not a Seadra
Name: Litera Dreha (HA! Surely you saw that coming x_x)
Age: 267 (if that's not right for a young-adult-level maturity Elf tell me, and if that made no sense tell me)
Gender: Female
Species: (Forest) Elf
Description: Litera is rather tall, almost six feet in fact, and has a very shapely build. Though she weighs about 120 pounds, all of it is muscle. Her eyes are piercing jade green, her hair straight and naturally silver-black (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/7246656/ -All credit to that person; an example of color and texture). Her skin is lightly tanned. Most often she wears a well fitting t-shirt that fails to cover most of her stomach and short shorts of a usually beige color. Any sandals will work for her feet, as long as they don't clash horribly.
Personality: Normally Litera is kind and a bit quiet, not speaking unless spoken too. She is good at catching details out of conversations and rarely forgets what she needs to remember, or what is totally irrelevant for that matter. She is highly logical and sharp, but she never seems to be able to enjoy life. Most who have met her will tell you that she is sarcastic and makes clever retorts to most everything. She always tries to find the reasoning and logic behind things, even if there really is none to find. Fighting is her escape from the torment of reality, this being the main reason she is a mercenary. Her morals run strong and true, as do her beliefs and understandings.
History: Litera was born and raised in the Kokako Forest settlements (Oh, big surprise) with nothing special occurring, until she was about one hundred years old (I'm assuming she wasn't very mature at this age, I don't know how Elven ages work). It was then that she was asked by a strange man within the village to come and be his apprentice. With her father always out and her mother gone, Litera accepted out of wanting for a family of some kind.
He always seemed to be hiding something from Litera, but she paid no mind. He was kind in training her to use a bow, spear, and sword, though she was very clumsy with the latter two. But even if she dropped the weapon he would just say, "Get back up; you'll get the hang of it." She slowly did. One night, however, he revealed to her why he had been training her for seventy long years.
A war of shadows, emerging from the corners of the world. It would take the power of a guardian shadow's summon to defeat the enemy. He offered to teach her how to call forth her own guardian of shadow, and she accepted willingly. It was a difficult art, but Litera mastered her shadow hydra after a time, though it was many years by human standards. However, peaceful training wouldn't last long...
Her master, the strange man who would never reveal his name, was found dead at their camp one night. Apparently he had been imprisoned, but had escaped. The authorities told Litera that he had said, just before he was finished off: "I did my work and passed on my technique. Kill me if you want..."
She went into her tent and cried for her master, the nameless warrior of many skills. The next day she buried him and started looking for the stash of weapons that he told her was hidden. When she found it, she was astounded that he had been able to keep so many unique weapons hidden away from even her.
Litera chose to take two weapons for her own: a longbow with ruby-bladed ends and a silver longsword with a golden hilt set with gemstones. So much valuable weaponry that Litera could not stand to sell... She decided to give her closest friends what they would use and hide the rest even further. Of course, she also jabbed two swords into the ground around her master's grave: his own iron sword and the most beautiful emerald-bladed one with a silver hilt. She watched them slowly fall deep into the consuming mud...
Litera lived in that encampment for many years; cooking for herself and training daily with her shadow and weapons, growing very strong even for a typical elf. Now she lives as a mercenary, traveling with what she earns and doing good work for villages and lords. However, she will not take on a job if she knows that she would not be fighting for the right thing, or if she knows it is just a bit too much for her. If the latter of these is true, she trains all the harder, wishing that she had been good enough for that one job.
Guardian Shadow: A seven-headed draconic Hydra (they come in many varieties). This particular one is dark purple shaded with midnight-black horns/spines/claws. Its minds work in a strange way; each head has a separate conscious but still they are all connected by many extra nerves in their necks. (I will refer to the Hydra as 'they' and other plural pronouns, so you know)
Yes I did see that you already had one more person than you had originally planned but I was wondering if I could sign up anyway, seeing as how the RP hasn’t started yet… well I hope you let my form make up your mind instead of denying me flat out. So here it is:
Name: Tiana Morenza
Age: 248
Gender: Female
Species: Witch (Of the Forest Elf type)
Description: Tiana is of a medium height as far as elves go standing at 5’9. She has wavy, golden-streaked, copper hair that falls just past her shoulder-blades, which is usually worn in a half-pony tail to keep the longer of her bangs out of her face, although most often two or three shorter wisps of hair escape their restraint and hang down in front of her ears anyway. Her eyes are a deep green-hazel with rays of rust brown that seem to radiate from the pupil. Tiana has a long burn scar at the base of her neck that is only partially hidden from view by the hair at the nape of her neck. She wears a comfortable, long-sleeve, green tunic over deer-skin trousers that disappear into her knee-high, brown-leather boots.
Personality: Tiana is a kind, caring individual who highly values friendship. She values friendship, but that does not mean that she feels she must be everyone’s friend. Tiana is a little eccentric, she does what she feels is right in every situation and sometimes what she does upsets others, often for very different reasons. Because of her magic she is even closer to the animals of the forest than normal elves. She cares little for what others think of her which is probably a good thing for everyone, because there have been many things said of her by her kinsfolk and others of her race some good and some not so good, but since she hardly cares, it doesn’t really matter all that much.
History: Tiana was born to a young Elven couple of nobility who were only loosely related to the royal family. When it was discovered that Tiana was a witch, she was shunned by some of her relatives who did not think that being a witch was a gift; instead they saw it as a curse. But, her parents and two elder brothers accepted her just as she was, despite the fact that none of them had magic. They made sure that she learned how to control her magic, because it began to manifest itself at the early age of three.
Tiana was granted her own little workshop on the ground floor right next to their tree-home. One night she was conducting an experiment with fire at the age of 17. She had become well associated with all of her powers and at the time used them without too much caution because she, as all younglings do, thought she was invincible. That night, despite many cautionary words from both her mentor and her parents and also because she was being careless and was not monitoring how much power she used, she used so much power that she fainted due to overuse of power, right in the middle of handling fire. She had been sitting in front of her workshop table on a chair. When she fell unconscious she dropped the fire on the table, and fell out of the chair sliding only half-way under the table on her side.
Obviously the fire caught on the wooden table and spread from there up the wall to the roof which was thatched. The fire bit through one of the thin beams that held up the thatching that was the roof of Tiana’s little hut. The beam snapped and still burning fell to the ground and scraped Tiana’s neck, in the process lighting the ends of her hair on fire. Tiana was roused by the pain in her neck, but muddled by a power-headache, and with no power to spare, Tiana could not do much of anything but get up and run out of the flaming doorway. She fell to the ground outside and put out the fire in her hair which had by then burned away much of her hair, but luckily it had not burned down to the roots.
She then fell back into unconsciousness it was only the next morning when she found out that the fire had jumped the small gap from workshop to house and had done quite a bit of damage before waking her family. The fire had caused the death of her second eldest brother who having panicked had not made it out before the fire collapsed the tree around him, but other than that no one else was hurt, physically in any case. That day Tiana swore never to play with fire again, to this day she does not use it, except for small things like lighting candles and controlled campfires, for now she has a very high respect for the power of fire and knows that those who play with fire will eventually get burned.
It was not until her 100th birthday that she learned the art of summoning a Shadow Guardian. She had read of them in the magic books and even though they had said it was only a myth, Tiana had been interested in learning how to summon one, but because she now knew the limits of her power, she knew that it was too complicated to learn on her own. She had, in lieu of a Shadow Guardian, summoned instead a Familiar. The Familiar she got was the great horned owl Tirk who was very like Tiana in some ways, but wiser in the use of magic and although he had helped her to figure out many a difficult spell, even he said that it was a thing that had to be taught. So Tiana searched for someone that could teach her the ancient art. She found that someone in an old hermit of a Wizard that had chosen to live fairly close to Kokako without realizing it.
The only reason that she found him was because she was out walking in the forest one afternoon at the age of 98 after a tussle with her brother. She had turned to the plants and animals of the forest for solace and comfort where she had found none in her brother or in her parents who had sided with him, and Tirk was no help at all when it came to family matters and so she had left him asleep in the house. The old Wizard had left a trap for animals in the form of a rather deep pit hidden by magic. Tiana had been in such a rage, that she had walked right into it. Since Tiana landed face-first she had the wind knocked out of her and for a while she just lay there, trying to breathe.
The old Wizard had been on his way to check the trap and so when he found the trap tripped, he was delighted until he saw that if was an Elven girl he had caught instead of an animal. It had been a while since the Hermit had talked to anyone and despite his self-induced banishment from the realm of men, he had never spoken to an elf before and he decided to see if it would be any more enjoyable than conversing with humans. By this time of course, Tiana had regained her breath and was not nearly as amused as the old Wizard was. She used her own earth magic to help herself out of the pit and he began laughing all the harder. When she asked him why he was laughing, he told her that he had even set warning signs up for the mages that could read them. At this she, realized that she had seen those signs, but had ignored them in her haste to get as far from home as she could, but she still was not amused.
She was about ready to go off in a huff, when he asked her if she would like to accompany him to his house for tea and although she didn’t appreciate being laughed at, neither did she feel like going home at the moment either. So she accepted his invitation if a bit reluctantly. But, when she got to the front door of the old Wizards snug little cottage, she was amazed at what she saw, a Shadow Guardian, warding the front door against intruders animal, elf, and human alike. She stared at it in awe for a few moments before asking, “Is that, a Shad— ” “Aye a Shadow Guardian, but how did you know about them?” She then told him all about her ambition to one day summon one for herself. She eagerly asked if he would teach her and he bluntly refused. Saying that he had retired from all apprenticing no matter what form it came in. Tiana was disheartened but not for long. Tiana visited the old man every day from then on and they became good friends and finally on her 100th birthday the old man agreed to teach her the art of summoning a Shadow Guardian. It took Tiana the longest week of her life to learn to do the gestures and learn the correct words, but in the end she did it, she learned to summon her Shadow Guardian
Guardian Shadow: Tiana’s Shadow Guardian is a wolf the size of a horse.
Other: 1) Tiana’s specialties in magic are the earth and water magic’s. Specifically, she can talk to plants as though to another race or animal, she can control the very earth beneath her feet although only with spells either spoken aloud or thought in accompaniment with a hand gesture, and she can control water in all of its forms in much the same way she can control earth. She does control fire but she does not use it nearly as free handedly as she does her other gifts for reasons explained above.
2) As a Witch Tiana has a Familiar in addition to a Guardian Shadow. Her Familiar is the great horned owl known as Tirk. As a Familiar, Tirk helps Tiana with weaving spells, and sometimes hunts for her. They can communicate through a mind-to-mind link formed when Tiana’s summoned him at the age of 96 years old.
3) Tiana has a lovely singing voice and when she has the freedom to sing, it is how she prefers to talk to the plants around her.
Name: Kitsusanoo Shippo(Kit for short)
Age: 150
Gender: Male
Species: Elf
Description: Kit is very lanky, and fast growing, so his clothes are oversized. His ears are unusually placed, and coated in orange fur. They are almost identical to a foxes, and poke out of the top of his messy, long, dark ornage hair. His eyes are a sapphire blue, and almost always open, giving him a piercing stare. On his face are six scars, arranged to look like whiskers. He wears a long red scarf around his neck, that covers his mouth, so no-one can see it. He wears a wool edged, very long black jacket, which has the japanese symbol for light written on it. He wears a thick, white, fur belt, with a silver fox head buckle. His trousers are made of cloth, and long and brown, covering his feet, so only the wooden soles of his snadla poke out. He carries a large, two handed sword on his back, held on be a a strap similar to his belt, without the buckle. His most bizarre feature is he has a large, bushy, orange brown tail, with a white tip, very similar to a foxes.
Personality: Kit is very much the care free sort. He can't stand rules or regulations, and is very easy going with life. He prefers to use his own, natural gifts of trickery to get out of tight spots, or otherwise compromise. He is also, depite his common sense and other qualities, prone to going out his way to help people. He often regrets doing so later, but he usually does so on impulse. He is also quite the lone wolf, preferring to act alone, though if push comes to shove he is more than able to swallow his pride to act in a team. But again, he often regrets doing so later.
History: He is an orphan. In fact orphan's the wrong word. He doesn't know if he has parents, or if they are alive or dead. He wa found, as a young child, in the elven forest of Kokako.
At first, he appeared normal, exept for the mark of light on his forehead, but once he reached his hundreth birthday, everything changed. His ears became like those of a fox, and he grew the tail of one too. He does not know how or why it happened, but it did. Along with this, he found himself able to manipulate light around him to generate illusions, and summon small will-o-whisps. He was treated as an abomination, and put under deep mistrust.
Eventually, he got fed up, and ran off, leaving his home behind. His foster parents did worry when he told them he was leaving, but they decidied to tell him the truth, that he was an orphan. He wasn't surprised, but it did make him want to leave more, so he could find out the truth. His foster father gave him two parting gifts, before Kit left to become a drifter.
The first, a large, two handed sword. It had a long, adamantite blade, with the same symbol for light that was on Kit's shirt and forehead, which by now was covered by a long fringe of fox red hair. The other was a small red gem, in the shape of a five pointed star. The elf told Kit that they had been found alongside him, and he knew they might answer some of his questions. Kit left, and began to wander the land.
As he wandered, he noticed something strange. Whenever he was exposed to moonlight, his shadow took a differant form. With caution, he entered a small village, and began enquiring about it. An old man revelaed that the quickest way to discover would be to learn how to summon his shadow, as a guardian. The old man took Kit under his wing, and taught him how to summon. Also, as Kit showed dismal ability with his large sword, the old man helped him learn to use it as well.
The old man's shadow was a huge eight headed serpent, with dark blue body, and eight long tails. He called it the Yamata No Orochi. However when Kit saw his Shadow for the first time, he was slightly in shock.
It was a fox. But not any fox. One with nine tails, and the same symbol Kit had on his forehead, on it's forehead. The Shadow even had a familiar aura to it. Whenever Kit called it, he got the same feeling a son gets when he is with his father. After completing his training, the old man told him an ancient legend. It told of a warrior who is marked by light but fights with shadow. One who is created where nature, spirit and man meet. He then set him on his way, telling him to go to Alexandria, as it might contain some clues. Kit thanked the old man, and with his Guardian, left on his way.
There, he simply wondered the town, hiding his tail with his abilities with illusions, and wearing a beret to hide his ears. But, fate has a way of twisting things. When he was starin in awe at the castle, he unwittingly fell into a river. Now Kit can't swim. So, he began to sink. This of course was unpleasant. In fact it was incredibly annoying for him, as he thought he was going to die before he could solve the mystery.
Now Kit had trouble focusing to call his Shadow from beneath the water, mainly because he couldn't form it, unlike the old man could, but he guessed it was because the old man's spirit was of water, while Kit's was of light.
Thankfully though, his number was not up. A girl, aged fifteen, was passing by. She was slightly shorter than Kit, with long blonde hair, and blue eyes not much unlike his own. She wore a short red skirt, and a white shirt. Over her shoulders was a small red ribbon, which formed a bow. She was crossing the bridge over the river, and saw Kit having trouble, so she jumped in to help him. Kit thanked her, and asked her name. She said her name was Nadine Kushina, and she said it wasn't a problem, it was the right thing to do. Kit told her anyway that he still owed her, and gave her a small gem in the shape of a crimson star. This happened just over six months ago.
The two went about, and quickly became friends, as something in Kit told him to stick by her. With her assistance, he tracked down a legend, on of a creature that matched his shadow's description. It said the creature, called Lucifer, had wandered the land in ancient times, assisting those in need, and bringing light to the darkness. It even fought against Dantus, and put up a strong fight against his Shadow, but was struck down. This was before the previous Shadow Warriors fight against Dantus though. It's body had dissapated into light, and no-one had seen anything else. However, Kit noticed something in the corner of teh picture in the book. Where Lucifer's body had laid, there was a small gem, exactly like his own.
Kit and Nadine looked further into it, and found the gem had been passed down a line of foxes who were descended from Lucifer. That is all that could be told from the books, as after that, all records of the gem and Lucifer's line disappear.
Kit was slightly frustrated at the last part. He had just begun to find some clues to his Shadow's form, and his gem, but then it cut off. Then, something terrible happened.
Dantus attacked Alexandria, his Shadow Dragon and elites fighting ferociously. Kit took Nadine, and riding his Shadow , which in honour of the legend was now called Lucifer, and took flight, trying to get her away from the fighting. Once he found a spot that seemed to be safe, Kit turned, and sighed. he didn't want to fight, but if Nadine was in danger, he knew he had to protect her. He had sworn to. He was turning to leave, when Nadine stopped him.
"Kit, there's something I need to ask you,"
"What?"
"Y'know, we've, umm, known each other for about six months, and you, emm, uhh have never shown me your moyth. You always wear that scarf," Kit turned away from her.
"You want to see what lies under neath, huh? I warn you, it isn't pretty."She smiled slightly.
"C'mon, your Shadow's a nine tailed fox called Lucifer, and your an elf with a sword nearly as big as me. If i can cope with that, I think I can see you smile," he sighed once more, and slowly removed the scarf before revealing his mouth. It was relatively human, but inside, he had row upon row of sharp canines, carnasials and all his teeth overall mirrored a fox's. It was kind of creepy, at least in some opinions but Nadine merely steeped closer, still smiling.
"That's it? I thought you'd have like a foxes muzzle or something," she laughed, as something unusual, and almso unexpected happened. They slowly leant forward. Kit didn't know why, but he gently held Nadine, as she put her arms around his neck. Their eyes locked, their eyes refelcting each others, appearing like the sky over a blue sheet of glass. They could feel each other's breath on their faces, as time almost came to halt. Their lips locked, and the fur on Kit's ears stood on end, his tail wagging like a dog who was having his tickle spot scratched. They parted, both redder than the gem around Nadine's neck.
Kit heard one of the leaders calling for people with Guardian Shadows, so was putting his scarf and his beret back on, when Nadine handed him his gem back. He didn't understand why, but she smiled again, and replied
"You need it right now more than I do, and, pleae, come back. I know you'll repayed you debt, but..well...umm,"
Kit smiled behind his scarf, and, before calling his shadow, embraced Nadine softly, before leaping on Lucifer and heading to the battlefield.
Guardian Shadow:-
Kit's guardian shadow is a large, six foot at the shoulder tall fox. It's fur is a dark crimson, with the tips of it's nine tails a pitch black. In contrasts, it's eyes are the same blue as Kit's, and on it's forehead is a white tattoo of the Japanese symbol for light. Around it's neck is a ruff of black fur. Other than it's size, eyes, symbol, colouration and nine tails, it is generally an average fox, in appearance.
FFVII: Rebirth Of Armageddon said:
He stared into the sunset from his late grandfather's ruined observatory. His red hair, turning grey slowly, showed how much time had phased him.
Unfortunatlye, time did not phase other things. As he sat their, he could sense Meteor awakening eep in space, it's dark will grabbing onto energy it could find so it could begin it's ultimate task.
Nanaki turned to the cliff, and jumped down skillfully, not missing a single footstep, and landed by the Cosmo Candle, a flame that had burned in the centre of his home since before he could remember. Several spheres of red energy appeared before him, all in a circle. He sat down, as each ball of light flickered in the flames, sometimes revealing their true form, a ghostly spectre of their true power.
"The time has come great guardians. The Planet needs help of heroes, I can tell as well. I know you have come to me, being the only one of your first heroes left, but I am too old, my hero days are history. There are ones out there more suited for the task. Go, find them, and bring them here. I know as well as all of you do, with the exception of our newer members, what is happenening, so I will assisst you in this. You have my word," the spirits flickered, almost as if discussing what the old Cancient had said. Eventually, they faded. Nanaki smiled.
"So, this is how Bugenhagen felt..."
Over in the distance, on the grassy fields before the great Cosmo Canyon, the sound of an engine could be heard. A large black assault trike roared through the wilderness, monsters being cut down by the rider as he rode towards the canyon.
The rider was tall, wearing a black leather jacket. his hair could be likened to a birds nest, being a similar shade of brown and looking about as messy. He wore jeans that were tattered with holes. One hand rested on the handlebars of his trike, theother holding a long sword in it. Normall designed for two handed wielding, the man was wielding rather weel with just one. He screeched to a halt, as a bizarre red light appeared before him.
Something deep within him told him to get closer, so he got off, and walked over to it. In a flash of multi coloured lights and ancient runes, three dragons appeared before him. Sieg, as the man was known by, stepped back and grasped the hilt of his blade, not knowing whether the dragons were friend or foe. They beckoned him to lower his weapon with hand gestures.
" Do not worry, descendant of the Great Calamity From The Sky, we are not your adversairies," the largest of them spoke to Sieg telepathically. The dragon was huge, and was technically high in the air, and if it's form hadn't been spectral it would have easily blacked out the sky itself. It had six ings and a silver hide from what he could tell. The smallest, a large black dragon, but barely a thrid of the silver one's size, who stood in front of Sieg, holding itself high on it's hind legs, now spoke.
"We are the three grand lords of the Dragons, Bahamut, Neo Bahamut and BahamutZERO. Our fourth brother, SIN could not be here. We are three of the many guardians of this planet, and we come seeking your help," Sieg sheathed his sword, and lowered his guard. Something in the back of his mind was telling him to trust the three. Their aura felt almost...familiar to him, as if he'd met them before. But a sharp pain through his mind erased the thought, as the second largest began to spoke.
"It is best not we tell you know. Go to Cosmo Canyon, where the Great Elder will tell you more," this one was twice the size of the smallest, who apparently was named Bahamut, this one must be Neo Sieg thought, and was a deep crimson red. It's build was far more eleborate than Bahamut's, but no-where near as large as the one Sieg guessed was ZERO. Sieg nodded, he was on his way to Cosmo Canyon anyway. Almost as if they could read his mind, which he worried they could, they smiled and disappeared ina similar manner to their appearance. Sieg shrugeed, and leapt onto his trike, before continuing to Cosmo Canyon.
Little did he know, he had taken his first step onto a path that not only decided his fate, but the whole Planet's as well...
Other: Kit has a few magical talents, mostly involving illusion, and 'spirit flames', or will-o-whisps.
He can throw stones, then reflect his image off of them, making it seem like there are more than one of him. He can also make his tail invisible, mainly to become less attention drawing.
Also, he can turn leaves into small balls of blue flame, the will-o-whisps, and since he can make many, he often combines it with his multiplication tachnique to fluster enemies, by making it look like ten of him are shooting will-o-whisps at the opponent, when actuall it's just one of him firing will-o-whisps from all angles.
Name: Dazzmin Okona
Age: 209
Gender: Female
Species: Dwarf
Description:
Dazzmin is very tall for a female dwarf (4 feet). She has brown hair and a long beard. Her eyes are green and she carries an axe with her at all times. She normally wears brown-colored clothes under her heavy metal armour and wears tough leather boots. She prefers to walk where ever she goes and greatly dislikes horses. She is often mistaken for a male (an unfortunate characteristic among female dwarves.)
Personality:
Dazzmin is very energetic and does not like to lay around like a lot of the other dwarves. Dazzmin is always active, whether she is hunting, making weapons, or just out for a stroll. She does not have much patience and is very short-tempered. Her furry is feared throughout the Gold Mountains. Although she is short-tempered, Dazzmin is very kind. She is always nice (unless she's mad) and treats everyone equally. She can also be pretty sarcastic and facetious at times.
History:
Dazzmin was born and raised in the Gold Mountains like most dwarves with her half-sister Drafff (same mother, different father). She took an interest in the making of weapons and fighting at a very young age. Dazzmin loved the outdoors and wasn't of afraid of...just about anything.
At the age of 25 years, she was able to fully become a young adult Dwarf. As done to all Dwarves at that age, she was given a test. Her test was to spend a week in the wilderness far from the Gold Mountains. "I don't need to bring all this other junk," Dazminn said to herself. "I'm can handle anything." Thus, she only brought her lucky gold-encrusted axe, a knife, and the clothes on her back. She found that this was a very bad mistake.
On the first day, Dazzmin ran into a swarm of bees while trying to get some honey. She went to get some ointment out of her purse only to realize she had not brought any. On the second day, she was bitten by a snake while fishing. Luckily, it happened to be non-poisonous. On the third day, she ran into an extremely large pack of hungry wolves. She barely made it away with six cuts and two bad bites. After that, she decided to play it safe and head back home.
On her way home, she ran into two huge bears. "Hah! Bears. I can take you," she said, her confidence welling up inside of her. Then, right when she was about to swing her axe, it was thrown from her hands by one of the bears. She grabbed her knife and through it, but it missed. She was now defenseless. She started to run, but her still verly short legs could not carry her very fast. The bears were almost upon her in seconds. Dazzmin suddenly remembered an old saying taught to her by the eldest dwarves. "Use it only when in dire need," they had told her. She tripped and fell to the ground. "Former min beskytterskygge!"
Suddenly, a huge cat-like creature appeared in front of her. It pounced at the two bears and killed them neatly and quickly. The cat creature then sat down at her feet (which brought its back to wear Dazzmin's arms would be) and began to purr.
"Do...do you want me to ride you," Dazzmin asked. The huge cat licked her hand. "I'll take that as a yes." Dazzmin clambered on and had to grab quickly for the huge cat took off like a speeding bullet. "So...where are we going," Dazzmin asked the the monster cheetah. She only got a growl for an answer. "Well, as long as I know," Dazzmin said, laughing.
When the week was over, she went back to the Gold Mountains. She ran immediately to her mother to tell of her of finding the cat and it disappearing while she slept one night. Her mother just stared at her for long time and then took her and Drafff to their room.
"I need to tell you both something. Centuries ago, when I wasn't even a full adult yet, there was an evil creature who ruled these lands. He was cruel and ruthless and killed as he pleased. One day, the dwarves, the elves, the mermaids, the humans, and all others except the goblins--who were on his side--joined together to get rid of him and they succeded. To do this, they used what is called... guardian shadows."
"Dazzmin, your guardian shadow is apparently that huge cat. What are you going to name it, by the way?"
"I think I"ll name her...Flash since she is so fast," Dazzmin said.
"Ok then," her mother said. "Well, Flash is your shadow guardian, which means you are destined to be a warrior. Drafff, since you did not discover yours on your test, this means you are destined for something else. What? I don't know. Though, I have the feeling it will be something great...for both of you," said their mother.
For about the last 175 years, Dazzmin has trained with her guardain shadow. They have prepared together for anything that comes there way.
Guardian Shadow:
Dazzmin's guardain is a huge cheetah that is about the size of an extremly big Siberian tiger (About five to six feet tall and seven to eight feet long). (Picture of a normal cheetah). It is unbelievably fast, horribly ferocious, and and attacks with a vengence. It has a very deep orangey coat color with black spots everywhere. The eyes are a pale yellow color and it's teeth (almost sabers) and claws are extremely sharp.
Talla finally slipped back into consciousness and opened her eyes. She stared around at the cold metal walls surrounding her. She tried to move to get up, but found that she was tied up again. She tried to edge her way over to a broken piece of glass on the floor that had come from the broken window, but was kicked hard in the stomach from a guard standing nearby.
"I wouldn't try to go nowheres if I was you," he said in a gruff baritone. "You just stay right there until he's ready for you to go somewheres." The guard nodded his head and went back to staring at one of the walls while he picked his teeth.
Talla frowned and tried to go back to sleep, hoping for her ordeal to be over soon, but it was impossible. She tried to move towards one of the walls, but was roughly kicked again. This time she threw up.
"Why you little....! You got your mess on my shoe! Grrr....Well...," the guard laughed, "you can just lay in it until I've cleaned up my shoe. That might be a while...." He laughed again and called down the hall for a replacement. Another guard arrived quickly along with a bottle of water.
"Boss says to give her some water," the new guard said. He glanced over at the thin, bruisied body laying on the floor.
"Well give her some water then! I have to clean her puke off my shoe," growled the first guard as he stalked off.
The new guard ran over to her and dragged her over to a wall. Talla began to cry.
"Hey now, don't cry. My name's Jeff. I'm trying to help you. Now listen. I don't think you deserve this, so hold tight. I'll get you to safety. I promise," he whispered to her as he held her. He dried her tears with the edge of his shirt and gave her some water.
"Thanks. You don't know what this means to me," Talla said weakly. She then slipped back into a state of unconsciousness.
Other: Dazzmin and Drafff were born 3 years apart. Drafff is the eldest. Drafff became Queen only 30 years ago.
