You forgot Noxus on the poll.
Spire. I ignored him most of the time but when I played as him, he was like-the best. Beat a Wi-Fi match with him easily. Even after two suicides I won with 5 points (On 'Head Shot'). Spire is the best. Also is immune to lava.

Why, it has a built in ORGINAL spider ball (or Spider ball that you can use anywhere on walls, not restricted to tracks). Also on Head Shot, his Alt. Form attack remove anti-gravity affects until he reaches ground.

Trace is awesome, I can play with him in his morph ball for 90% of a fight, sniping is nice too for capture the flag and when you see someone hiding.

I didn't think that spire would be my fav but I surprised myself.

I use Trace, I snipe and snipe, and I am very good with him. His alt is very good too. Second place goes to Sylux, I have a great lockjaw strategy...

My second best guys are Trace and Sylux. I'm not that good with them but I sometimes use them. So if u ever see me playin with them consider yourself lucky.

I quite like Spire, really. There's no limit to how useful he is in the Alinos Gateway with his handy lava immunity =D The Magmaul is also a cool weapon when he wields it, and I love the way the gun looks when he uses Missiles. Too cool. He also has a great storyline and design, and an awesome name. His Alt. Form is seriously destructive. You can beat people to death with little effort when using the Dialanche. Personally, I don't find the Spider Ball feature all that useful. Whenever I climb something, I always seem to be stuck at the ledge and can't completely ascend. Then I fall and am lower than where I had started ._. But it's definitely cool, even if I lack the capacity to use it xD.

I like Weavel the best. Most everyone likes Trace because of his top-notch sniping abilities, but I don't always follow the crowd. Weavel is the perfect hunter for me because it is so fun annoying my friends with Weavel's alternate form. When he is dismantled from his his lower body he can actually accumulate more total HP/energy than anyone else. I also like guarding invaluable energy and "ammo"-forgot what the green things are called-with his turrets.
When I first started playing multiplayer I was horrible. I've never been good at first-person multiplayer games, but once I unlocked Weavel and practiced with him I became decent. I'd recommend Weavel to anyone who likes to annoy or who just likes obscure strategy. Seriously, is there anything weirder in the game than splitting one's body in two, using the legs to fire at invisible people (Trace), and pouncing on others with just your upper torso, head, and arms?

^I think you have Spire and Trace confused. Trace is the skinny red one, Spire is the big rocky one.
Here are my opinions on the Hunters excluding Spire:
I think Weavel is very cool as well. His past is excellent, and I love his hair xD I might wear mine like that once I grow it out. The Battlehammer is great, and his Alt Form rocks. Great for enclosed hallway spaces >=P Plus, you can attack your foes while finding energy, weapons, and ammo at the same time. Excellent =D
Trace is fun. That really sums it up. He's not my personal favorite anymore, but he's still great to use if I decide to just kick back and kill. The Triskelion is deadly, and the Imperialist is cool(I've learned how to use it, finally). His design is excellent, though, which is why I liked him so much in the first place.
Noxus....Meh. Sometimes I just feel evil and like freezing my foes with the Judicator and slowly killing them. But generally, I don't like using him. His design is nice enough, but his character is really dull, and he's basically just a male Samus, albeit a bit harsher. The Vhoscythe is frustrating, really. I do like how you don't need to stylus to change directions and how the scythe keeps spinning instead of stopping after some time, but when you hit something, it takes a while for the scythe to extend again, and by that time, you're dead. And sometimes it doesn't even extend, because you hit the button too early. Annoying in so many ways.
Sylux: Ugh. I really don't like this guy much at all. His past is horrendously cliché. He hates a powerful company(if that's the word for it) for no apparent reason and devotes his life to destroying it, etc., etc., etc. Your standard villain here. It's a shame he acutally looks cool, because I don't like using him. The Lockjaw is all but useless, with its difficult maneuvering and out-of-control Bombs. Difficult to get it to turn, difficult to get it to stop, and seriously not worth it. Sylux's weapon is great, but I like using it on any other character more, and then, it colors their guns a cool electric blue(Spire's looks particularly awesome). Sylux's cry is kinda cool, though. Gives you the impression of some beast inside the suit.
Kanden: Cool, just cool. His backstory is pretty cliché, but he's a great Hunter and a force to reckon with, even as an AI. The Stinglarva is a jack-of-all-trades Alt Form. Fast, easy to use, and powerful. Kanden himself is pretty good, too. Large, but not so much as to present an easy target. Fairly nimble, and has a good weapon to boot. His design is great, and he's yellow
I actually forget about him a lot, seeing as I like a lot of the other Hunters, but he's still great to use when I feel like using him.
It's really a shame that Nintendo put so much effort into most of their Hunters(I'm looking at you, Sylux), because I often can't decide who I want to use D= Usually I choose Weavel or Spire, but then I get the urge to choose a different one, and I end up swapping Hunters until hours have flown by.

Weavel, his alt-from rulez and allmost no-one escapes him as guardian in capture the flag (or octiloth).
I like Kanden best because of his alt form's speed and homing bombs. I also like using Spire and Samus (not that too many people don't). Those three all work great for barraging opponents with alt form weaponry when they're in a tight spot. I sometime play as Trace too, though I suck at sniping, just cause you can play a whole game just in alt form. The other three I generally don't use (particularly Noxus, whose alt form is clumsy and attacks slow).

Sylux has, as stated, a very cliche backround and his alt. form, as was also stated is horrible. however, he looks damn cool and the shock coild is damn useful.
Weavle has just a cool look about him plus a marginaly better backstory than Sylux. his alt form is great, for the single fact that it hits trace, cloaking or not. pluse the battle hammer isn't to shabby.

Trace is my favorite for several reasons. He can turn invisible, which is great for ambushes and sniping. I also like the overall design of his alt-form, which happens to be a bit tricky to use. I like the buggy look.
