I know there is already gameplay ideas but this thread is supposed to be a bit differnent if you think it dumb anyway then close it.

Here's my ideas for the D/P map events pokemons ...

First you get to choose if you wanna be a boy or a girl Thats a fact we know will happen of course ) You can then choose between 3 differnt boys or girls.
Maybe the ones from R/S/E and FR/LG + new ones
And you choose your name of course.
You start in a town called Timborvile I know its a crappy name... you might have better ideas.
Its your birthday today your 13 years old.
Your mother tells you that your father wants to see you (he will work for the games professor)

When you get to the lab your father tells you that you will get a special present you then gets to talk with the professor. A female called Prof.Willow or something. You get to choose between 3 different pokemon a water, a fire and a grass

My ideas are at the new pokemon thread link. http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=93565&page=71

The professor also asks you to go to the pokemart in the next town
The town Nibero Town I Have no good names for the towns... plz give ideas) becuse he wants you to get him some sort of machinery for him
Your adventure begins. You can only go up in the begining there is some grass landshape and a river that is to the right of the grass.
In the grass you meet

In Nibero there is a pokemart a healingcenter, and 3 houses there are 2 roads from the town The one to the right is a just grass and and a cave the cave is blocked by a policeman who says that there has been a blockage in the cave and that it isint afe to go in there. In the grass you meet

When you go in the pokemart the man a the reception gives you the packet for the professor ( After a quick chat of course).

When you go into the lab a boy/girl is standing beside prof.willow
she says it her sisters son/daugther she/he is also 13 and has also got a pokemon today if you have taken grass she/he has taken fire and so on...
Profs.Willow opens the package an takes out a pokedex she explains how it works and gives one to you and one to her sister son/daughter
she also gives you 5 pokeballs each.
When you come out your mothers gives you running shoes as a present.

When you arrive at Nibero again the trainer on the bridge has stoped fighting
there gone...
After the brifge there is a grass patch and some trees a youngster challenges you he has a Rattata at lvl 3 and a lvl 5 lotospike ( a porcupine pokemon type normal with the ability needles like rough skin...)

In the grass you meet

wynaut ftw!
This is good...but it seems to be a little to similar to the previous games. I like believing D/P might have a little more change.

..... Yeah, this is basically a very strange combination of all the previous games. Not only that, but there was hardly any 4th Gen. pokemon, just old ones.

I pray that D/P will be loads more original than this. And knowing Nintendo, it may be lame, but it'll still be different.

Better starting:

Choose gender, model (you choose out of 3 people of that gender) and name.

You wake up, and find yourself in your room, like normal. Head downstairs, and you find your younger brother and sister being attacked by a monkey-like pokemon. This is Aipom's evo, Pommegrasp (or Pommegrab) (lame name), and it runs outside. When you go outside, the professor stops you and lets you choose a starter from her lab. She gives you a pokedex and 3 potions and tells you that the Pommegrasp has ran down to route 47/whatever route after the one where G/S/C stopped. Anyway, you go down the route, and halfway down, you get ambushed by a wild Aipom, lv 5. Whether you win or lose, the Pommegrasp appears and the Aipom stops. A second Aipom appears, and the Pommegrasp decides to follow, along with the 2 aipom. When heading back, a woman stops you to heal you. You then go up to the end of the route, and when you're about to go into the lab, a boy of your age stops you and battles you. But before you battle, the Pommegrasp attacks the rival's pokemon, knocking it out. He runs off, and you enter the lab. Prof Willow congratulates you and gives you 5 pokeballs and your first TM and TM compartment for your bag. You then notice a girl of your age walk out a side-room. Choose her name, then she will take the only pokeball from the table, containing a pokemon with a type disadvantage to yours. You give the Pommegrasp and two Aipom to Prof Willow and walk outside. The rival you met before battles you, but before that, the girl from the lab walks outside. The rival sends out a pokemon with a type advantage, and you don't have to beat him. When the battle ends, the rival runs off, and the girl takes you inside the lab. She asks the rival's name, and you choose a name. She goes off to talk to Prof Willow, and you find out the Prof is the girl's auntie. Anyway, walk outside again, and your mum, brother and sister see you. The mum gives you the device of the gen (Pokegear, pokenav). I'll call it the Pokedata. Your mum adds her number, and so do your bro and sis. Then you see Prof Willow's niece, and she adds her number too. She leaves, and your mum asks if you want to activate Daylight Saving Time (DST). Then you check the time is correct, then you leave on your journey.

There's the starting I want. It's new and cool.

;227; Absolkid, you pwn at making new ideas for these games. I'm almost drooling on my keyboard. Although Aipom's evo HAS to be Grabono. Or Swipanzee. Meh. Anyway, about Zorga's ideas, they're pretty good, but we want to see NEW Pokemon in the beginning, not oldies. That's what made GSC so boring,(in the beginning, anyway) they had all the oldies in the beginning, on the first few Routes(29+46) you could only catch one GSC Pokemon, the others were oldies. Hoenn's distribution was almost perfect, IIRC the first oldie that you could catch was Zubat in Granite Cave. (The first oldie was IIRC Roxanne's Geodude.) But I'm still salivating over Absolkid's idea. I'm glad I'm not soluble. lol

Here are My Ideas's For D/P

First off You Get to Decide what you Look Like (there would be different shirts, pants, hats e.t.c. for you to choose from.

Town Name: Minute Town

When the game Starts you wake up and you realize that you have fallen Asleep on the Couch and you see a O'lan (Pokemon that looks like a Pumpkin, and is a Grass Type) atacking your Cousin Brent who is visiting, but when the O'lan notices you it runs off. Then you ask your cousin why he is here. He then says Tht He has Got A Job as a Professer, but he Ask's you what region it was and you Get to choose ethier Kanto, Johto, Hoeen, and the New Region. After you Answered he will give you a choice between 3 Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle if you Chose Kanto. Chicorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile if you chose Johto. Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip If you chose Hoeen. Or the New Starter Pokemon if you Chose the New Region) after you choose your Starter he Says that you should Go find that O'lan, and he also adds that It would likely be found in the next city Being that it's famous for the Amount of O'lan they have. Right when you exit the Door your neighbour runs into you and then your charecter says Hi uhhhhhhhh and then your neighbour ask's if you remember her or his name and then you get to choose the name after that she gives you a Potion and 5 poke balls, a Poke nav, and a Pokedex. You then move onto route 47.

Pokemon you will find:

Manene (Pearl Only) Rare
Bonsly (Diamond Only) Rare
Mankey (Both) Common
Hariama (Both) Common
Poalb (Both) UnCommon (An Ice Pokemon that looks Like a Baby Polar Bear http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e274/charmander04/babypolarbear.jpg and it evolves at level 30 in to a Old Polar Bear http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e274/charmander04/polarb3.jpg )

Town Name: Vanco Town

Once you Get in the Town your Rival Will bump into you and Say "oh you finally made it" you will then ge frusturated and you start to battle.

Pokemon you Rival Will Have
If you choose the Water Starter:

The Grass Starter (Lvl. 7)
Dratini (Lvl. 5)

If you choose the Fire Starter:

The Water Starter (Lvl. 7)
Trapinch (Lvl. 5)

If you choose the Grass Starter:

The Fire Starter (Lvl. 7)
Bagon (Lvl. 5)

After you finish your Battle you will hear your Name be called by your Best Friend and Other Neighbour Shane. When you find him he will inform you that he was just attacke by an o'lan and he shows you where he was attacked and Standing there is that same o'lan. you battle it and then you can catch it (it will be at level 8 and will know Vine Whip and Growl) if you catch or don't catch it, Brent will Call you and Say that he needs to Speak with you. When you Get Back to town he will show you to the Lake which now has a Bridge. When you get to the Other Side of the Bridge there will be a Big Helicopter and Says that it will fly you to the beginning of Victory Road when ready (if you choose Kanto, Johto, or Hoeen it will also Take you to Littleroot, Pallet, or New Bark though you can not go anywhere else in that region) Now you can go back to Vanco Town and Challenge the Gym Leader for the Fang Badge

GYM BATTLE

Gym Leaders Name: Clarissa
Type: Dragon/Ground

Trainer #1's Pokemon:
~ Dratini (Lvl. 10)
~ Phanpy (Lvl. 11)

Trainer #2's Pokemon:
~ Geodude (Lvl. 7)
~ Trapinch (Lvl. 7)
~ Barboach (Lvl. 7)

Gym Leaders Pokemon:

~ Fleerain (Lvl. 13) (Pokemon that looks like a Lamp made from Dirt. Electric/Ground)
~ Altaria (Lvl. 14)

After you beat the Gym Leader you go to route 48 where you can find alot of Pokemon

Pokemon you will find:

Corsola (Both) Rare
Wooper (Diamond) Very Common
Barboach (Pearl) Very Common
Coync (Both) Uncommon (Coync would be a Baby Coyote http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e274/charmander04/babyyotee.jpg and it would evolve into a Large Coyote http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e274/charmander04/Coyote.jpg Both Pokemon Being Normal)
Tailow (Both) Common
Spearow (Both) Uncommon
Duskull (Both) Rare
Shuppet (Both) Rare

After Route 48 you get to this small village named Theo that only has a Pokemon Center, Mart, and 1 House. In the House there will be an old Lady sitting in a chair and she says that she Would Give you Something in return if you helped her so you would have to help her get through a Cave that seperates Theo from the next Town. If you get through the Cave she will give you a Pokemon egg Containing Munchlax =)

That's all i got Know but I may edit this later

(Note that Flarein evolves into Fleerain at Level 12)

Eszett

one love
Okay, I would like new Pokemon to be abundant. I seriously don't want to see any old Pokemon until at the VERY least halfway up to the second gymnasium.

In addition, I would like to see a wider breadth of types available at the start. While it's all nice and dandy to sequester Pokemon based on their typings to the appropriate habitats, it'd be nice to see at least ONE Pokemon of each type that can be found mroe prolifically throughout the game. So, for instance, there should be one or two Ice Pokemon available within the grass and not some frozen-over cave that takes you seven badges of progress to reach.

As for new areas I would like to see, in particular I would love to see:
- a volcano whose innards you can traverse. Rock and Fire Pokemon make good residents in this area.
- an icy mountain within the same mountain range teeming with Ice and Ground Pokemon
- a sewer that connects two cities via underground linkage. Expect to see some filthy Water and Poison types in these regions.
- a tall labyrinth in the sky where Flying and Dragon types can be found in relative abundance.

Of course, these are just a few of the environments which I fervor to see.

;227; lol, thanks. Grabono's my personal favorite. But maybe Swipanzee would be easier to understand.

Anyway, to contribute the topic, I'd like to see Fire, Water and Grass Pokemon available near the start, so that you can quickly build up a varied team. Maybe after the second Gym or something. Of course the following Gyms would have to be harder, though.

How about an abandoned mine? Rock, Ground, Steel and perhaps Ice-Types would be abundant. Rain forest would be nice, but if it is indeed in (lol 5 "i" words) the north it would be somewhat inappropriate, unless you go down to where Cianwood was. And if it is in the north I would like to see the Lake of Rage come back.

Assuming they're keeping the old grass, fire and water start line-up (which I really wish they'd change), I don't think these types will be too available near the start... it's what makes choosing a starter have some point behind it, as each type is quite unique and makes things easier/harder for you early in the game.

;227; Yes, but that is why I said that they would come after the second or third Gym. And I also said that the following Gyms would be harder, since you would probably have one or two Pokemon that are effective against that Type (Assuming that they will be Type-based)

Although they could make it so that if you pick Fire you could get more Fires after the second/third Gym and Grass and Water after thet next Gym. It would be easily programmed, but it would be hard to explain why Grass, Fire and Water-Types can all be found in the same areas.

Kanto: Paras and Magikarp were avalible before gym 2. And the evos.
Johto: Hoppip and Magikarp were avalible before gym 2. And the evos
Hoenn: Magikarp, Tentacool, Surskit, Seedot and Lotad. And the evos.

There's still what you can call a collection of pokemon avalible before gym 2, so it's possible only if there were no fire types.

after u defeat the 4 trainers u'll find ur self in an another town (tokake) there u'll find a pokemart/pokecenter/5 houses & a gym inside the gym u'll see 6 trainers (u'll fight every two with a double batlle) then u'll face the gym leader (mat) he has no certain type & his pokemon are :
- korakai Lv 10
- morkai Lv 12 (molrii -Lv5-> morben[type:bug/grass] -Lv10-> morkai[type:bug/grass])
- elovolart Lv 12
- sysmori Lv 9
- korakai Lv 14

after u defeat him he'll give u the ace badge & he'll give u 5000 poke$ before u arrive to the next town u'll have to get through a cave first in the cave u'll find many trainers & these following pokemons
zubat (always had appeard in caves ;D) [ very common ]
sysmori [common]
martii (the new ghost pokemon/it's type :ghost/normal) [ uncommon ]
folaro (the new pokemon (besides the starter)/it's type:fire) [ uncommon ]
equar (the new dark pokemon) [rare]
maselhar (the new rock pokemon/it's type :rock) [ uncommon ]
zoraora (another rock type/it's type :rock/ground) [ rare ]
after u get out from the cave u'll find ur self on a beautiful city (temobes) there isn't a gym leader there however u'll find the originals (poke center/mart) & 6 houses + on the grass near the city (on the edges) u'll find the same pokemon in the plase with 4 trainer however thier Lv are higher & on has evolved (molrii -Lv5-> morben[type:bug/grass] -Lv10-> morkai[type:bug/grass]) after that u'll go to route 2 there u'll find many trainers after route 2 u'll find ur self in a town (hemorai) three u'll find some trainers & the original + there's a gym there in the gym there is a switch puzzle & 5 trainers + ofcorse the gym leader (waston is back !) his pokemon are the same as before but lower Lv than r/s/e (cause it's the second badge not third)

I'd like to see a Fighting, Dark and Psychic trio of starters.
Or at least SOMETHING different...
Or all ghost types (each being different pokemon, of course).
