Your Lucky Happenings in Fire Red and Leaf Green

My lucky happening was i was walking around in FR and a Wild Lapras appeared......in The Cave on 4 island....nothing speical

Find 10 Chanseys and 3 Tauroses in the safari zone. But I can't catch one of them.

That was pretty cool, I nearly cried from joy.
This happened, during my trip to Japan. I leveled all my team up to lever 70 an started to prepair for a "Great Mewtwo Hunt". I bought 65 Ultra Balls(!!!) and 65 Timer Balls(!!!). After wandering in Cerulean Cave for some time, I encountered Mewtwo. First I used my Blastoise and with two Hydro Pumps I lowered his health to red(luckily he didn't heal himself). Then I started to decide which ball to throw. I choose a Timer Ball. I just wasn't looking at screen, because I had no hope for it to work from first try. And then I heard "clink!". I looked at screen and there was that: "Congratulations, Mewtwo was caught!"
My jaw dropped down. For some while I had been staring at screen, then I managed to realise what happened and saved the game. You can't imagine how happy I was!

In the my Fire Red I send out my Noctowl and use Hypnosis. After that I use 3 repeat balls and I catch my Mewtwo.
But. My friend decorated my Fire Red and Released it. I am very sad

I recently caught Articuno but it something like 70 ultra balls and 2 hours. So after I caught him, I tried my luck at Zapdos. After I had weakened him down enough, I accidently chucked a great ball. To my amazement he was caught on the first time! Stuff like this makes me wonder if some legendary birds are harder to catch?

My lucky thing now is that i caught mewtwo in 1 Net Ball(Traded to my game)with full HP!

got a modest porygon, on the 5th go. got a adament dratini on the cant remember but it was below ten goes. got modest lapras on 7/8 go, got timid charmander 3rd go IIRC, so far ok for natures, 3rd pidgey was jolly. cant remember any more

Well nothing too lucky has happened to me in Fire Red and Leaf Green. I've never seen a shiny other than the one that is a standard appearance (the Green Espeon in the Trainer Tower). However some luck includes getting the perfect natures for all six members of my team, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pidgeot, Raichu, and Dragonite. It took some time, but I managed it. Also, I've caught all 28 Unknown, which is horribly time consuming.

within half an hour of playing, while looking for a spearow in route 22, the first pokemon i find is a shiny Rattata!!(^_^)

While posting elsewhere I've been reminded of some other lucky things. In the Safari Zone, I have caught every Pokemon there is to catch, except for the ones I can get by means other than trading. I also wanted to trade some to my Ruby version, so I have two Chansey, two Tauros, two Kangaskhan, two Scyther, three Dratini, and two Pinsir. Scyther and Dratini were obviously caught in their respective versions.

caught the first chansey on the first SZ ball - was jolly natured same for kangaskan expect modest natured.

Well, it wasn't in Fire Red or Leaf Green, but in Ruby I randomly picked a spot in the water and found Feebas.

i was messing on my leafgreen catching mewtwo it had full health and i used a pokeball (one of the 5 from the prof) and it caught full health!! and the 2nd was wen my chancey evolevd

I managed to hatch an Adamant Dratini on my second egg, and I found a few more Chansey's in the Safari Zone

None had a Lucky Egg though :'(

PS. What the hell does a Lucky Egg do?! XD

Today when I was hunting for wild Pokemon in the safari zone, I found a Chansey. Not only did I catch it but to my surprise it had a lucky egg!!!!
*Bows before the lucky egg*

The answer to what it does is gives the holder X2 the amount of Exp from battle. Combine this with trading pokemon on to other games, and you can raise a pokemon at X4 the usual speed.
