Hi and Welcome to the "Oh ****" moments is Gaming. Here all we do is talk about a scary moment in a game you have seen or done. There are many horrific titles out there, so you shouldn't have any problems.


My moment: The disapearing man. Game: Resident Evil 4!

Ok, well one of my scary moments is from the horror title Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube. Well, on the game, on one part it is raining and is very dark. While playing, I should have been seeing just fine, but I wasn't. My sisters TV had the wrong lighting settings. So, Instead of me being able to see the Los Illuminados, I couldn't. Well, while outside, a Los Illuminados ran in my face and I was like "OMFG! Die Person die!".

Same here, those blocks were a freaking pain.

One of my moments in the CLASSIC Mega Man games was fighting Wily in MM3 without any of the RM weapons and having to die.

There was a glitch once when I was playing The Legend Of Zelda Orcarina of Time. I was trying to get 100 skull spider things and it happened when I was about to collect the coin this weird thing popped outta no where and grabbed me and then the screen turned pink and the game locked up... I nearly had a heart attack!

One creepy moment while playing the GBA. I was playing Yoshi Topsy Turvy. I wanted to play another game. So I yanked the cartridge, not knowing the GBA was still on. Then it was a pink screen and weird game noises. It CREEPED ME OUT.

Freespace 2. The mission when the Sathanas-class destroyer jumps in from subspace and destroys what was known to be the most powerful ship in the GTVA fleet to smithereens. That was first "oh shi-" in Freespace 2.

After you destroy it a couple missions later, you discover that the other side has an entire armada full of those destroyers. Oh shit

Scariest demo I've ever played-King Kong for Xbox 360. Those Rexes were so scary, especially when you're playing as Jack staring at their glowing red eyes or them going after the girl then you're playing as Kong. Jack's part is way scarier.

Condemnend. There isn't much you can say about it, without completely spoiling the story, but it is quite easily the scariest game ever. Condemened = GoTY. Everyone needs to play this.

All the Silent Hill games were pretty good for that too. Pyramid Head in the second game has to take the cake though. Everytime you head the scraping of that giant knife across the walls, it was just a case of "Holy crap! run!"

when im losing by a mile in Mario Kart DS (Wi-Fi and others)

In ZOE2 against Anubis (only in Hard Mode)

Having a boss pop out of nowhere.... most of it in Golden Sun 1 & 2

Doom 3, im standing there waiting for a zombie the one of those grey things jumps on my face and rapes my mouth, think i woke up the whole house with that scream.

Well, this isn't really my moment, more like my brother's. But in Billy Hatcher, he had stocked up about 20 lives, to fight the final boss. He had about five left when he finally beat him. Only to realize that he was one of those bosses that you have to fight a stronger form of once you beat them. And he lost. Dark Raven is the most evil final boss I've ever seen.

Oh, and in Lunar Dragon Song....well, I got to the last part of Delrich Temple, and I beat one of the Sasquach things. But then Lucia says "Hey, didn't four of these attack us?" And then I'm thinking "I have to fight three more of these? O_O

I have one "Oh ****" moment that I remember...

1) Facing the full brunt of Seth's attacks - first he Desert Winds two of my allies out of the battle (and I didn't know to Deploy them at that time). Afterwards he uses a defense-decrease move and then proceeds to Pain me, which is straight OHKO due to the defense-decrease and Focus (increase damage by x2.0 multiplier, dealt ~810 damage)... That made me go "Oh ****" after getting caught alone. This was in Digital Devil Saga 2: Avatar Tuner.

I was playing the King Kong game yesterday, and playing as Jack, I turned round and this millipede thing leapt at me and it was face was right in the view. It scared the hell out of me.
