Well, there's one for your rival and your player, so I thought, "Why not Pokemon?" So... here are mine.

On Crystal =

Boy Butterfree = Nick
Boy Caterpie = Almond
Boy Polliwag = Paul (POLLiwag... PAULiwag)
Girl Magikarp = Kelpie
Boy Sentret = Jose (I caught him on Christmas, and since Jose is the Spanish name for Joseph, I chose that name)
Girl Sunkern = SunSeed
Boy Togepi = Lemondrop
Unown J = Jasmine (J for Jasmine... all my Unown have names that start with their letter)
Unown B = Borris
Boy Rattata = Bd (Pronounced Beady. In a book, B. D. were a guy's initials and when he introduced himself to his co-worker, Cheyenne, she was like "Your name is Beady?" So I THINK that's where that came from. But I don't remember for sure.)
Unown G = Ginny
Unown D = Deyala
Boy Bellsprout = Billy
Girl Ledyba = Ladie (Ladie, for ladybug.... duh.)
Girl Geodude = Jiiko (Because... I felt like it.)
Girl Jigglypuff = Amy
Girl Igglybuff = Akka (Comes from "akachan", Japanese for "baby")
Ditto = Kinko (Because it copies, and Kinko's is a copy place...)
Unown H = Hermione (I had just got through listening to Harry Potter at the time...)
Boy Croconaw = Satashi (Satoshi + Ash = Satashi)
Girl Pidgeotto = Kamisti (Kasumi + Misty = Kamisti)
Girl Zubat = Zekla
Unown A = Adam
Unown K = Katrina
Unown I = Irma
Unown C = Crystal (Duh... Crystal Version. And I just like that name.)
Girl Kakuna = Molly
Girl Slowpoke = Shelli (I don't remember, but I THINK it was after Shelly from Team Aqua, who is my favorite Pokemon "Bad guy".)
Girl Hoppip = Twinkie
Boy Sandshrew = Toejam (I have NO idea...)

Silver Version:

Boy Feraligatr = Teeeepeeee (I was too lazy to think of anything better...)
Boy Typhlosion = ASH (My brother named him. Fire, Ash.)
Girl Sandslash = SANDSLASH (Funny story behind that. My brother and I caught her when she was just a little Sandshrew, and back then Rocky liked to name them after their evolutions, so when they evolved it would say "Congratulations! Your SANDSLASH has evolved into SANDSLASH!" She's now one of our strongest Pokemon.)
Boy Geodude = General
Boy Onix = ROCKY (He was traded from that one guy in Violet City.)
Entei = Marydo (When I was little I had a cat named Marydo, so I named it after her.)
Girl Beedrill = Mom (I don't know. I once went through this phase when I named everything after the last name I'd heard so far, including titles like "Mom" and "Dad". So that's PROBABLY where it came from. LOL, it's funny, when I send her out to battle, it's like, "Your foe's week! Get 'em, Mom!")

And before I can tell you about the rest of my Pokemon from Sliver, I gotta find my way out of Victory Road and get to a Pokemon Center. -sweatdrop- Victory Road, I hate thee.... I've been stuck there for... a long time... And I can't find my Gold right now, so, yah.

Jigglypuff (F)- Amy (Like Amy from the Sonic games)
Poliwag (F)- Swirleh (Hey, I was bored, and it was late. )
Quilava (M)- MAAAAAAGMA (Like Dr. Evil. This was in the file when I was naming all my Pokemon weird names)
Haunter (M)- Matsuba (Like Morty. It was originally going to end up a Gengar, but I never really got around to it. XD)
Chikorita (F)- Lily (Dunno why, but I spent forever resetting for a femal and I thought of a name really quickly)
Butterfree (F)- Free flier (Um... I couldn't think of a better name. )
Bellsprout (M)- FREEWILLY! (See Poliwag/Swirleh)
Pikachu (M)- Sparky (Yes, unoriginal. I don't care.)

Hey, we both have Jigglypuff named Amy.

Lol! We do! I'm not sure but I think that's where I got it from, too... they're both pink... I was going through a Sonic-obsessed phase at the time so it's likely.

I love nicknaming my Pokemon. The Pokemon on Emerald have a lot more... unique nicknames then this lot i'm going to name. but there you go. ;D
