I watched a lot of anime but those were a little bit 'embarrassing ( harem anime). Yep, I was weird, but when I watch them now, It's disgusting. Example, I watched To Love Ru because of ecchiness in idk 2014/2015, but I stopped and when I try to watch an episode now, my body rejects it...
So here anime that I truly enjoy watching because of plot/battles and not weird fetishes( I am glad I got over it so, tbh)
1. Pokemon( OS, AG, DP, BW, XY and now SM; I am ready ))
2. DB( DBZ, DB and DBS. GT is awful. I wasn't fond of DBS in beginning because of recaps but now it's amazing.
3. One Punch Man: comedy and action packed together:brilliant.
4. miyazaki's movies: I enjoyed Princess Mononoke, The Wind Rises, Spirited Away( I don't if these counts, but I will put them here)
5. Yu-Gi-Oh! ( Original and GX)
6. Naruto( original)

I wanted to put Naruto Shippuden if I wrote this in 2014, but Naruto has become bad( I don't wanna curse word) to me, with these fillers, it's insane. Boruto is even worse. I remember when I enjoyed original so much and Naruto Fillerudden came along..

Series's

1. Hunter x Hunter

The most unpredictable shounen I've watched. Ends at a good point but apparently is only halfway through. The story of the manga only recent chapters is looking to be incredible but the author updates once every other year which is a shame.

2. Full metal alchemist brotherhood

Really heart warming story with a great world. I only wish it was longer.

3. Gurrenn Lagann

Takes Mecha and shounen to its logical extreme. Then goes past that...

4. Cowboy Bebop

A classic of classics. Intense and hasn't a great world.

5. Death Note

Very well written and heart pumping. Extremely original concept.

6. Code Geass

Kind of like death note except dumber and with mechs. Second season was clearly rushed, which is a shame.

7. Steins Gate

Touching but sometimes heart breaking story. Apparently had a sequel that was scrapped, which is upsetting.

8. Fate Zero

I actually don't particularly like the digital effects heavy animation so many people applaud. But it's still a great story with lots of twists. Sadly the follow up doesn't live up to it at all.

9. Attack on Titan

It's famous for a reason. Great concept and better execution.

10. Kill la Kill

Like Gurrenn Lagann except .... :3

Honorable mentions

Yu Yu Hakusho

It drags on, has a ton of canon filler, and the final arc went from the greatest premise possible to the worst in the series. That being said the cast is lovable and the shounen tropes are great.

Naruto

The plot drags on and the filler as well as final really destroy it, but past all that is a great concept, great world, and a story with a lot of heart that I grew up with.

High school of the Dead

Don't judge me. Honestly if I could give one thing on this list a new season it would be this. Id probably be killed in a riot if word got out of how I spent my opprutunity but it will be worth it.

Neon Genisis evangelion

I thought it was confusing and average, but then I read up on its second plot and symbolism and I realize I know nothing about this show or life itself.

I just got into Prison School (I know its a TV-MA title but I'm sure it's ok to at least talk about liking the series here) and outside of it's subject matter, it's about as well thought out as Death Note. Really, REALLY good series, and very fun, but obviously not for people who are easily embarassed or under age. Evangelion pushes more boundaries than any of the other ones on my list, any day.

I totally forgot about Cowboy Bebop when I wrote my list, but I think I'm good with it as an honorable mention. CB is genre defining and has made anime accessible to a lot of people via CN. The others on my list pushed the limits of the material and are pioneers. Where CB played it safe, the others said "No way! We're going full regalia."
