Your views on marijuana and drugs

Marijuana is fun and harmless for responsible adults to enjoy, key words there being "responsible" and "adults". Sure it can become addictive just like junk food or porn can. I personally enjoy it from time to time and think that it makes everything better. Food is better stoned, video games are better stoned, sex and even shitty movies like Dude Wheres my car are enjoy able when slightly stoned. I think it should be legalized for adults 18 and over. I started smoking it at 15 and I turned out fine but I do see that I am an exception.I know people that started in middle school and high school and their losers with no real prospects in their futures.

I think its best when its an occasional and not a daily occurring. Cruzin with some friends, eating some mcdonalds, playing some video games and having quintin tarintino/kevin smith like discussions about life and pop culture is a great way to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.

Trying to claim it as harmless is just silly. Of course it's a lot more harmless than most drugs, but it can still cause harm - particularly indirect harm, I.E., you doing something stupid because you're high. However, I agree that if you must smoke pot, it shouldn't be every day - that can build up an addiction, and those are unhealthy no matter how you slice it. Personally, I see no reason to - things can be totally enjoyable without any kind of drug, and if you need a drug to make you happy, then you probably need some help. But if you absolutely had to do some kind of drug, marijuana is probably the safest choice.

My uncle died from Marijuana. He suffered depression, and committed suicide.

After being taught not to smoke it, and hearing about what happened to my uncle, is enough to never go near it.

However, I understand that people turn to it because it helps them forget about their problems. But I still believe this is an unhealthy habit.

Tbh, I think the key to drug use is to know you don't need it, it's merely a luxury. You will never get addicted if you have that mentality.

Marijuana didn't make your uncle kill himself. Honestly it could just as easily have been cheeseburgers or lotto tickets that lead to his demise. He was probably in to more then just weed, probably on some anti-depressants or some other type of meds.

Well indica can make you feel down and lazy thats why I only mess with sativa strains because they give me energy and stimulate my mind. If you are going to smoke weed stick with sativa strains, they make jazz sound amazing and making out on it is the best.

I never once got depressed from smoking it. No matter what weed it was. It has cured my depression before on the other hand, since we're speaking of that horrible mood. :) The only negative I've gotten from it was extreme paranoia ..but that's only when I'm out driving or somewhere I'm unfamiliar with. Or around scary people and it's all "THEY KNOW!!"

I'm either all chill and relaxed, or just plain amused at literally anything. Oh and hungry. Good times, good times.

My condolences but its more likely your uncle smoked to cope and could not longer cope anymore. The result being your family placing blame on the easiest target.

but to each his own.
