First and foremost, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

I realized a few weaknesses to my deck I posted a few weeks ago and I decided to improve on it with these changes. Tell me what you think of them.

Also note, three cards are not out just yet.

dunno, I can't see Dark world (horrible errata for the US) and spellcasters working together..

you have YVD? Maybe you can test it out on me..

All of the changes I can see is:

Slimmed it a little. It's now a Spellcaster/ Soul Control Hybrid. It's on a higher level now. You might want to add another Soul Exchange though.

Without fixes:hmmmm... 7/10
With fixes 8.5/10

Rate anything that you see that has my name on it

If you want to splash Horus, just do

2 horus LV8 or
1 or 2 Silent swordsman LV5 or 7 ,
3 Level Modulations, and
2 or 3 Royal Decree

You just DONT splash ANYTHING with LV in the name. EVER. Its a bad idea.
Your sidedeck looks o.k. to me.

I do like your deck modifications. However, a problem with it is there are quite a few normal summon low ATK magicians at my disposal that are not really attack worthy. An Apprentice Magician (or 2) can be curbed in exchange for a second Cerberus and/or a Toon Gemini Elf.

In today's metagame, people don't care about attack power, but more of advantage. An apprentice magician is a two for one, a spell counter and a monster. Cerberus and T Gemini Elf are just none for one. If they do go into play, Torrential or Bottomless. If they Attack, Sakuretsu or Widespread (especially for Cerberus). Next turn if they live, Fissure, Smashing Ground or the Occasional Dark Hole or Hammer Shot.

Hm... this looks kinda janky too me. Anyway, building off Orochi's suggestions...

There's just too many things running around that can off da boid (DDA, Bottomless, etc.) You're best off just leaving this thing alone.

Would it be fair to say that I'm not a big fan of this thing? Besides, the jar's not as hot as it used to be, especially since Dark World is running around, even as limited as it is.

It's a 2 for 1 and easy to summon. Wynaut.

+ Dark Magician of Chaos

I know everyone moans about this guy being pointless with Magical Dimension (January '06 Shonen Jump), but, really, it's a 2800 beater with an RFG effect that will soon be fairly easy to get out, and besides, you don't ALWAYS have to knock off a monster >_>

+ 1x Skilled Dark Magician

One extra beater won't hurt you.

The rest of what he suggested seems fine.
