PLOT
Years ago a game was played. This game was no game anyone had heard of in a long time. The game was called…a shadow game. This game used cards known as duel monsters and people used them to fight battles. The cards held three types, monster, magic and trap. They were used to battle only in a shadow game the loser had to pay a penalty game, usually lose their souls. The last was held in a card factory and ended in a tie. Several rare and one of a kind cards were sent flying from the two sets of cards and mixed in with packs of random cards. From then the packs were sent around the world and kids would find them.

Two years after Duel academy opened up to young teenagers who wanted to be the next duel monsters champion. Among the students at the academy was the next king of games, as the duel champions were called, was a boy who used a simple deck of Elemental Hero’s. Two years later he graduated and left. More students came to the island years after year. One of them was a spy and stole the plans to the duelist school and returned to a group who opened their own duel school. Now students had a choice to go to either of these almost identical schools.

Four years after the new academy rose, the packs containing the several rare cards were delivered to the school in the rare card packs. Several students found these cards in the packs to add to their decks. Soon after their discovery a dark clad of duelists heard of the discovery and sent out to retrieve the cards back. Together in one deck they could raise the seven strongest cards and bring them to life. With this power they would take over. The strongest cards contained the god cards, Slifer the sky dragon, Obelisk the tormentor and the Winged dragon of Ra, the sacred beast cards, Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder and Raviel and Lord of Phantasms, and finally the strongest of the seven Exodia the forbidden one. The duelists that receive the rare cards will have to be prepared to take the challenge and defeat the dark clad duelists in their own shadow games.

Personallity: Kim has pretty good leadership skills. She is usually a very calm person but if she gets POed she will go mentally angry. She is mainly a loner and likes to make lyrics for soings. Inside she is a very depressed person but can hide it well through her songs she sings. She never uses her head whilst duelling and just goes along with whatever happens and won't be put off by a single loss.
Appearance: Kim wears a light blue T-shirt with a pink heart in two halves around the chest area. She wears blue jeanswhich she's graffitied over in small areas. She wears her extremaly long pink hair straight down to her butt. She also has her hair in a long pony tail. Her hair also has small red parts and small purple parts but is mostly pink.
Main dueling strategy: Summoning out her Master of Oz fusion card by using a trojan horse to sacrifice for big koala then using fusin gate or summoning her cyber end dragon with a powerbond although she rarely even does draw powerbond when she needs it.

Name: Emily Walker

Age (14-17): 14

Gender: Female

Personallity: A very sacastic and humorus girl who will take any chance to get some action in her life. Emily will often get into things which aren't worth getting for herself. Like Tai, Emily is a born leader, just, she's not that willing to go into battle sometimes. If you make fun of her, she will pick a fight with you, and will try to win at all times. If she loses, then she begins plotting her revenge against you. She is nice, it's just hard for her to show it, and with all the pressure that goes on her at school, she has learnt to hate most kids, especially young, and loud ones.

Appearance: Emily is smaller than the average twelve-year old, and she's thinner than a normal one would be too. She has dark, brown hair, with a pair of the same coloured eyes to match. Her skin is a tan colour, making her look like someone who's been on holiday for a month, and got a really nice tan. She wears a beige t-shirt with thin, beige trousers to match, with a lime green bandanna on her head, with the "Yin-Yang" symbol on it. She wears white trainers with a purple star on the opposite sides. Emily has a gold necklace with a Tiger Shark canine hanging, just in the veiw of sight. She also has a sapphire braclet on her hand.

Main dueling strategy: Bides time and prepares for her most powerful cards to show themselves.

Well, I made a Yugioh RPG a while ago, but it...well...died. So, crystal-zephyr, do you think I could reserve Chaos Command Magician and Manticore of Darkness? Thanks in advance. Although...I have one question: do we actually have to use the Rare Cards we choose, or can we just keep them in our Side Decks or something?

Name: Suzume (Zume) Hyuuga

Age (14-17): 14

Gender: Male

Personallity: A very absent-minded boy, who is capable of bumping into someone just in the front of his eyes. Even being so err... absent-minded, he is very sociable and loyal to his friends. People often pick on him, but he doesn´t give then any attention to then, mainly because he doesn´t know they are talking about him.

Appearance: Suzume is a little smaller and thin than the other fourteen-years old you generally see walking on the streets. He uses his long, red hair in a ponytail who goes until his waist. His eyes are green colored. He always wears a black headband, with the cards Dark element symbol on the middle. He wears a plain, blue colored T-shirt, matching with his black trousers, and with is blue shoes.

Main dueling strategy: Using his Card Destruction when he has got one , or all of his three Dark Magician in his hand, and, if he´s luck, try to summon his Dark Magician Girl and equip on her his Dark Pendant, making her attack raise even more.

Name: Maverick Fiura
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Personallity: Maverick is calm and cool most of the time, but is agitated by waiting. However fear and other strong emotions can sometimes get in the way of this. He also tends to enjoy dueling a little too much and is sometimes unaware of the world around him, which usually gets him into trouble.
Appearance: A bit tall he stands at about 6' 2" with a medium build. He has raven colored medium-long hair which is usually combed down to right above his blue eyes. He wears a plain black t-shirt underneath a navy blue windbreaker. Maverick also wears blue, slightly baggy jeans and black shoes with three white stripes running down either side.

Main dueling strategy: He mostly uses Guardian cards and his main strategy rvolves around summoning Guardian Eatos and Guardian Baou to the field to do as much damage as possible.

Although i have seen you in the old Yu-gi-oh RPG and can see you were good in it so i'm offering the chance for you to have a Sorceror of dark magic. Your deck has spellcasters over level six because it says you do in the strategy so you can use that instead if you want.

Personallity: Mike can be very stuborn at points and loves to just watch girls. He always wants to have a girlfriend but however he is extremaly shy and finds it hard to get one. His main way to try is to challenge them to a duel and hope he impresses them enough.
Appearance: He wears a grey sleeveless top and dark blue long shorts. Around his neck in a amethyst (kind of purple) gem stone on a necklace. A tribal style image is on the front and back of his sleeveless top. His hair is a silvery blue colour spiked up with small blonde parts where the hair dye has worn away. He carries his deck in a box attached to his arm and the box is a very shiny light metal so it won't be damaged.
Main dueling strategy: He doesn't really have, he just goes with what he gets and doesn't complain but likes to summon out three blue eyes white dragons.

Name: Evan Goukai
Age (14-17): 15
Gender: Male

Personality: Evan has a rather complex personality, to say the least. On one hand, he tends to be rather silent and anti-social most of the time. He’ll rarely talk to anyone, and is usually seen alone despite his popularity amongst his peers. Although, it is true that many envy his skills as a duelist as well as his seemingly perpetual calm demeanor. In addition, he tends to be very nonchalant about things, no matter what the situation may be. So, admired by many but truly loved and cared for by few, Evan chooses to continue to carry out his life as a lone wolf and fight his battles alone.

However, this isn’t all there is to Evan. No…by no means is he such a one-dimensional person. Though pegged by some as a run-of-the-mill angsty child, this really isn’t the case. You see, his calm demeanor and lone wolf tendencies aren’t his only attributes. True, he doesn’t appear to care for anybody, but this isn’t the case. Upon getting to know Evan, one would see that he actually possesses a strong sense of justice and would gladly give his life to protect that of another. However, he doesn’t show this trait often, believing compassion is nothing but a sign of weakness even though he himself isn’t able to get rid of his. Still, an incredibly scarce amount of people know him well enough to realize that he is actually a kind person who could never bare to see another innocent person die before him. Most of those who envy or admire him never actually see past the lone wolf aspect of his personality.

Also, as stated above, Evan is incredibly skilled in the art of dueling. Showing even the smallest signs of weakness while dueling Evan is a truly fatal mistake, as he seems to have a knack for picking out even the smallest flaw in an opponent‘s strategy even if he/she had dueled perfectly up until that one moment. In addition, Evan will never quit during a duel, no matter what the circumstances may be. It’s not so much that he’s hopelessly optimistic, more so he doesn’t want to be thought of as weak. Some say he duels on the level of a Pro League Circuit Duelist, and a good one at that. Still, even those who don’t believe that to be true know he’s heading for the Pro League sooner or later.

Appearance: Being of athletic build and standing at average height for a boy his age, it’s very easy to tell that Evan Goukai is in very good shape. Though he appears to be both strong and agile in comparisons to his peers, his build isn’t what makes him stand out. Dark brown hair covers his head, just long enough so that it falls over his forehead, covering it completely and ending not even a quarter of an inch from his eyes. Speaking of his eyes, they so happen to be the same exact shade of dark brown as his hair, and always seem to have the same focused look in them. One look into his deep brown eyes will tell you that there is, in fact, something else to him than just being a loner, but what exactly you won’t be able to tell from just looking. The truth is, though, not many people look at him deeply enough to see that. Likewise, when he looks into someone else’s eyes, he can somehow see through any acts of deception they might be trying to pull and can see the truth about that person.

His attire is rather simple. He’s always seen in a sleeveless black shirt- no matter what the weather outside may be- coming to an inch or two below his waste, making visible his strong arms. The shirt soon gives way to a pair of plain blue jeans which cover Evan’s legs and end at his ankles, leaving just a half-inch between the pale blue of his jeans and the red and black of his sneakers. Around his waste, hidden underneath his shirt so that it isn’t visible, is a black belt, on which is the container that he keeps his deck in. Also, hanging around his neck is a golden cross which he never takes off. Nobody knows why this is, however, because he certainly isn’t the most religious person in the world

Main dueling strategy: Evan has a few strategies in his deck. He runs a Dark World Deck, though, so his main focus is getting out Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World and Silva, Warlord of Dark World through their special abilities. However, that’s not all his deck can do. Containing powerful Staple Monsters like Mobius/Zaborg the Frost/Thunder Monarch and Jinzo as well as incredible Spells and Traps, Evan’s deck is by no means limited to just those two monsters.

Personallity: Alex is usually a "lone wolf", having grown up without many close friends. Left to his own devices, he has therefore plunged himself into Duel Monsters, and is fiercely competitive, becoming furious with himself if he loses. Alex's trust and friendship is hard to earn, and harder to keep, due to his self reliance.
Appearance: Alex has shoulder length, spiky dark brown hair and fierce green eyes, with a tall yet skinny frame. He wears a black top with grey sleeves, navy blue trousers and a grey hooded jumper, with tan coloured shoes. His deck is fastened into his belt, with his most prized cards in an upper pocket of his jumper.
Main dueling strategy: Alex usually uses several combos to get multiple Dark Magicians out on the field, using a group of Amazoness cards when he cannot summon his more powerful cards. He usually relies on Dark Paladin or Dark Magician Girl to deal the death blow.

Personallity: Jo is very freindly, kind and loyal but tends to be quiet and impassive all the time usaully making him kind of as an idol yet intimidating as well since his appearance adds his imdimidation even though all he wishes is to be freinds only.

Appearance: Stands pretty tall and is slim but is very well built is th main reason he looks thin. He wears hoodie alot unless it isn't cold he takes it off to reveal a white muscle shirt revealing his muscular built body, white shoes with black baggy pants that sometimes sag by themselves. He wears a deck box on his extra belt that is hangs around his waist. Has short hair but with bangs that dangle down his forehead and face at times.

Main dueling strategy (just what your deck would use to win): Uses a Magicain deck rotating around the Dark Magicain for weaker opponents and as well as a Cute Girl deck he uses to toy with his opponents.
