And that... was certainly a wimper. So flat, so predictable. Again the 1, now 2, flashback scenes we got in the final moments are awesome, i felt the goodbye scene but other than that, I feel nothing. I'm not good at analysis of writing but i rally feel something was missing from this series, unlike every single other. I don't know what it is, if there are no themes explored or that exploration is shallow or even if it was just my hopes for this series that were set way too high but unlike all the others, i felt no attachment to any of the characters. Was it weak character development? I liked both blue angel (only in the beginning), Ai infused Go onizuka, Queen (even though her development was almost non-existent, similar to Ruri in arc-V), i especially liked specter and i liked the evil AIs, windy and lightning. Maybe i'll remember specter, windy and lightning in the future but their moments, while definitely an highlight of the series, were so short lived... In fact, the series in genera has moments that work surprisingly well but for this 2nd half i always felt that there was no risk at all. I knew there was no way that the consciousnesses stolen by AI wouldn't return to their bodies. Could it be that i didn't think releasing a bunch of AI replicas was dangerous at all? I don't know but Vrains dropped the ball way before Arc-V.
New series coming in 2020. A new thread will be made for it right?
