Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Discussion

I would like to start a yugioh trading card game disscussion because i think there should be a thread that yugioh card game players disscuss about there strategies and also discuss about the trading card game itself...it will give a sense of more of a group that can only talk about the yugioh trading card game.

there will be some rules to this thread though:
1.)only discuss about the trading card game (not the series/show)
if the show relates to the card disscusion its fine
2.)no swearing please
3.)make sure your post is clear enough to read or you will be notified the first time to fix it
4.)have fun and no bashing peoples deck ideas
5.) keep on topic

P.S: I would like to make a note. I did notice that there was a alter. card discussion on the fourum. I accidently posted this thread before I knew about it so please don't tell me that there is one. If a staff reads this please could u if u can move the thread to the proper place please. Thank you!...

I use to play. It's a really fun game. I don't play anymore because i have no opponents left. at 25 years or age it's hard to find any yugioh fans that arn't preteen.

the Solar Flare Dragon was my trademark card. I won so many games just by ending my turn haha.

My Burn deck was so nasty. My brother built a wicked Dragon Deck that ended up shattering all my old tactics. haha made me proud.

I don't know much about the newer cards though, i've been outside the game for years. I've learnt al little from a few scattered episodes on TV (I know, don't talk about the show, but it's in context)

If i was to get back into it i'd want to make the Rainbow Deck from Yugioh GX. what were they called crystal beasts? can't remember. but rainbow dragon is awesome and if i remember correctly there is a Dark version that is Uber Awesome.

well it does count that u did use to play yugioh back in the day...were i live its very popular and i find lots of players that are not preteen that play the trading card game still...i think ur trying to say that is rainbow dragon...its the main key is the crystal deck...for me crystal decks are not that strong but its okay u play what u want to play...the dark version is called malifec rainbow dragon...u remove from play a rainbow dragon in the deck to special summon it and it must have a field card on the field or it will get destroyed....

I still have my Elemental Hero deck and my Crystal Beast deck.

They're both pretty beast.

Still want an Elemental Hero Wiseman since I have all 3 Yubels.

Cool elemental hero decks are still up there there too...especially absolute zero is very good card...he is the beast of the deck...i love running him in my water deck...he really cool...

No actually i don't have gaia... i only use the water heros in my water deck...its really nice touch to the deck...

I have like 6 decks...my main decks are plants,fairies, and spellcasters....side decks i built are harpies, water, amazoness...water is still in progress of building...im a heavy female card player...very good at the game too...do to im a female lol....

I'll at least mention that I used to be a major Alt. Card Discussion guy back in the day. Had a pretty bomb Armed Dragon deck too. But as soon as DAD became the thing and was overly, OVERLY used, I just lost the spark of continuing.

yeah thats because dark armed dragon is a good card in a deck...thats why...understand...i run that card in my spellcaster deck...i own the original dark armed dragon that came out of phantom drakness...it was sweet when i pulled that card...

That's the worst thing I ever saw *puts head down in shame*.

The only good thing is the Dragon which looks kind of buff.

The rest is just weird and ugh.

I had a friend and she loved using that and she had never beat me with that deck.

I'm not going to lie but she lost to a deck of JUST Man-Eater-Bugs and some powerful Spells and Traps.

Then I gave it a shot since I thought maybe she can't duel, and I lost too.

Harpies = Herpies in my opinion.

i have beat my boyfriend macro deck with the harpies...i run things to back up the harpies like iccurus attack..and other stuff like shield wings..my harpied deck is mostly destroying everything...run chain whirlwind with that baby and u get to destroy even more cards....also starlight road and stardust dragon run really well in a harpie deck...

Yeah, I play, even though there aren't any other players in my area. My main deck at this time is a DaD/Chaos build, secondary deck, which was my main for a while, is DaD/Monarchs.

If you're going to run a competitive Harpie, Pet Dragon shouldn't even be an option: you'd be better off running the better of the Harpie monsters(Queen,Cyber,ect.),2-3 Raiza, along with the current meta staples.

I love the yugioh trading card game and yugioh in general. I hated my self for getting ripped off and selling my cards for 4o dollars on ebay 3 years ago DX

I run most of the cards u just put up there...thanks for the advice though...i run alot of mean cards that destroy backfields and monsters in the harpie deck...thanks for the advice though...

I'm a bit rusty, Tengu is Beast-Warrior, meaning that it can't be used as the tribute for Icarus Attack since Icarus requires a Winged-Beast.
