Zangoose/Spinda breeding help.

So I finally got an lv. 5 adament zangoose with flail by breeding with spinda except the only problem is the stats arent good. (I used seribis IV calculator and its attack was 5/31 and speed was 20/31.

I did save right after I got the egg because I thought you could soft-reset and keep on getting an adament zangoose with different IVs every time, and I was wrong. So any suggestions on what I should do?

Also, My zangooses attack stat is 17 which in the IV calculator is 5/31, I wanted to see what 31/31 is so I toggled with it and came up with 19 is 31/31 IVs. What the hell!? 2 points different but the IVs are 26 points different? The same thing happened with its speed, if its speed was only 2 point highers it would have been 31/31. Can someone explain this non-sense to me? Thanks.

Here are its stats incase anyone is wondering.

Zangoose (Male)

LV.5

Nature: Adamant

STAT: # OF STAT----------# OF IV/ MAX 31 IV

HP:23--------------------22/31

Attack:17-----------------5/31

Defense:11---------------10/31

Special Attack:9------------10/31

Special Defense:12---------25/31

Speed:14--------------------10/31

Note: All I care about is attack and speed. Of course I'd love 31 IVs in HP but that aint what I'm aiming for.

Don't double post. Maybe people haven't replied because it's in the wrong section.

Maybe you should take a closer look at the IV guide on the main page. I haven't read it in a while so I can't help you.

edit:You did take into account that your Zangoose has the Adamant nature, right? Don't forget the DV values and the other parts of the equation.

edit2:And here comes Athrozeous to save the day. The equation isn't a 100% accurate. Level 50 is the closest you can get to an exact measurement of IV's.

Hmm... who are you calling n00b Mr.?
Maybe you should try searching for a proper thread... and try to read the guides this or any other site offer... and then you should know that at Lv. 5 your IV's will not be accurate in any way... perhaps you should try to level up your pokemon... then, Mr. smarty-mouth you should know that the number the IV is doesn't mean a raise in that stat... ie: Attack 15 (IV = 11/31), Attack 35 (IV = 31/31) it means that the stat will have an increment to its Max...
You shouldn't be so rude to people when asking for some help... (-.-)

Oh and please don't double post... there's an edit button on the bottom right...
(just like im doing now....)
