Zapdos

i've drawn a zapdos for my sisters birthday..
what do you think of it?

The blue thunderbolt seems out of place, and it looks likethere is a wing coming out of the center of its back, and not it's side. The talons also seem kinda tacked on and such.
Also, try CGing it instead. It'll probably look better.

Looks pretty good to me actually, even if the background is a bit plain.

i've tried to remove that stuff on the background xD
i erase a bit to much sometimes..

actually i dont really like to colour pictures so i'll post some black and white.
this one i made 3 years ago but i still like it

It's good, really. But to me, it looks somewhat short as Zapdos [Lengthwise, not Heightwise]. There's also something about the claws... But it's good.
For the recent images you've posted, I like the normal crow, I can't find any faults. For the Dark Crow, it's very detailed, except it's very skinny as well.

the legs look a little short on the pic of zapdos but i like the coloring ^^ ,the head on dark crow looks a little misplaced but i like the font ^^ , the pic of the normal crow is really good (i can't draw REAL animals..)

I actually like the Zapdos. The blue lightning bolt is cool.
The "Dark Crow" pic is awesome. ^_^ I like the font you used.
Ooo, the regular crow is even better. The pencil shading is great! I particularly like the eye... I'm not sure why, either.

i now see the claws from the Zapdos are to short.. but i can't change it since i gave it to my sister xD
