Anyways, yes. I played it and beat it ages ago when it first came out on the N64. Pretty good game, but not the best, as so many claim. I actually enjoyed Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie a hell of a lot more than this game. D:

Yes I played it, and yes, it deserves all the "Best game of all time" alcolades that it gets. Excellent game, the only game I ever played that did not have flaws.

I absolutely love this game. Even though the graphics were extremely outdated by the time I got round to playing it, they were still as absorbing and atmospheric as any of the Metroid Prime games. It also had highly complex yet enjoyable and fluid puzzles, and an absolutely magnificent slew of creative bosses. An electric stomach ulsuae, a giant disembodied chest with floating hands, a possesed swimming pool, and a fire-ice arabic quenn.
The out-of-dungeon activities were crap, though >__>

This is game is very easily in the top 5 on the all-time list of games...it's simply amazing, it was then, and still is. I would still say Kingdom Hearts is pretty much the greatest thing ever, but this game is definitely legendary as well.

I played it. Everyone loves it because it revolutionized the genre. I wasn't around to play it then, so I see it as another 3D Zelda game, and I don't consider it to be the best in the series, let alone the best game of all time. The story, like other Zeldas, is tedious: Beat 3 dungeons, go through the big plot twist, then go through 5 more dungeons. The graphics are heavily outdated by this point, and a lot of the songs are hard to remember. It can still be a fun game though, and the world is pretty big, which is nice.

Really I can't stand Zelda games. They're not my thing. I have played Ocarina of Time and watched a friend play the mask one. I find the gameplay in the both too bland actually. It must be a good game though, considering others opinions.

You don't get bomb flowers. You just get an item from the Gorons that lets you pick them up.

Anyways, this is pretty much the only 3D Zelda you can call perfect. Nothing annoying in it. Wind Waker had annoying Triforce Hunting, and Majora's Mask had you rewinding whenever you made good progress, and having to do SOOOO many things over which you had already done over and over already.

Another flaw in those two is that they didn't take place in Hyrule, just an alternate world and an apocalyptic Hyrule. Same reason I didn't like Paper Mario 2 as much as Paper Mario.

For those of you who can't stand the outdated graphics, I suppose you can't play Pokemon Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, or the first 5 Final Fantasy games either? How unfortunate...

Pokemon? Absolutely. Super Mario Bros...well, they could be better, but they're not disgustingly bad. Super Mario World is still great for a non-3D sidescroller, and while I can't play the Final Fantasies in their original release, I can in the new ones, though I wish they had redone FFIV more.

Tedious? Tedious!?!? Are you kidding me? The storyline was fantastic. I can't believe any self-respecting gamer would refer to graphics as "heavily outdated"...-_-;...OF COURSE THEY ARE it's been around ten years since it came out, that isn't the point. Super Metroid is still amazing, and it's graphics are 16-bit. Graphics can never be a true determining factor when deciding whether a game is good or not, especially when talking about a game that old. And I don't know about you but I could still break out in song on any of the OoT songs right now...Song of Time, Epona's song, Zelda's Lullaby, Saria's Song...

The game is amazing, (I got the Collectors Disc). Before playing this I had only played the handheld games and Wind Waker. I can now understand (but not necessarily agree with) some of the criticisms people have made about Wind Waker (I will always defend Waker). Oot fully deserves all the praise it gets.

I think Zelda OoT is one of the best games made so far. It ranks up there with FF VII. The story line is awesome and the charcters are cool too. I hope Zelda Twilight is just as good.

Uh... no.

Do not expect it to be perfect. No matter how much they delay it... *channels anger* ...The game will still have its flaws, but I do expect it to be as good as OoT, MM, and WW. I'm just saying that you shouldn't get your hopes up.
