Memories in the Rain
Zodiac: The Race For Time
Somewhere long ago, before the dawn of time, the God Rayquanza wanted to choose a few select Pokémon which would repsent time. But with the vast selection of them, it was proving difficult. So Rayquanza held a meeting with the other legendaries to discuss on a solution. After many hours of intense discussion, all the legendaries decided to hold a race that would stretch around the contients of Mew, Celebii, Jirachi and Rukario (Otherwise known as Kanto, Jotho, Hoenn and Orre). It was also decieded as well that the first twelve Pokémon who finished the race who be the ones who repsesented time. Many obstacles were set, and the trios went about, proclaiming the news.
Soon all the Pokémon knew about it, but only twenty spots were available. It became an internal agreement that the first twenty who arrived at the starting line would be the ones who participated in this competion. The race would stretch around the regions of Mew, Celebii, Jirachi and Rukario. Along the way, many obstacles and dangers await our twenty competiors.
So who would the winner be?
The Race Outline
The Pure Feline, Region Of Mew
The Pure Feline, Region Of Mew
The race would begin at the Town Of Pallet, a small town famed for its natural beauty and clean, fresh air. There, the twenty Pokémon would begin the race, rushing through the wild grasses. Tall and lean, these grasses are a natural maze, making any land-going Pokémon facing a hard crisis. But the Flying ones are going to have a hard time as well, for the Bird Of Lightining, Zapdos, with the help of Mewtwo, will alter the weather drastically, making the weather unpredictable and hard to soar through, so all of them are in equal stance.
Upon reaching the City of Krystival, a place honored for its crystal clear water, lies a HUGE body of water in front of them. A barrier has been put up in the air, so flying types will have to lie low, trying to dodge all the others who are swimming in the water. Physic abilities are disabled here as well. Ahead lies twenty passes, one for each Pokémon to grab. These passes will allow the Pokémon to gain aceess to the road leading toward the next town. If the pass is spoilt, then the Pokémon is not allowed to pass and thus disqualified.
At Galestrom, the Pokémon are allowed for a day's break on comfortable beds before contiuning on. There, they also can collect esseninal items like water bottles, food and so on for free. It is not a need; a Pokémon can just dive stright through without stopping if it wishes to, but it is not advisable, for the path ahead is tougher.
Past Galestrom, the endless meadows of Transli await them. In such a big place, one is easily lost, and the plains are filled with many savage Pokémon both in the air and on the ground, so Flying types are not really safe in the blue younder.
After the plains, a tedious path awaits them, leading to the Mountian Khris, where Mew awaits them. The paths are long and confusing, with many wild Pokémon once again awaiting them within the depths. Articuno will be there and with Mew's power, creates a ferocious blizzard which pours on endlessly, pounding freezong snow onto the Pokémon brave enough to trudge on this icy path.
Reaching to the Shrine of Light, Mew awaits them there, with a test of her own.
If one passes this test, then it is granted a day's rest before Mew teleports the ones who passed onto the next leg of the race.
Voice Of The Earth, Region Of Celebi
Upon reaching the Town Of New Beginnings, the Pokémon now rush forward, where Kadabras now stand, preventing them from contiuning on. If they wish to pass, first they must answer correctly all three questions that it gives. If they do, then the Pokémon will be allowed to pass. If not, then the Pokémon must try until he does.
Contiuning on, another maze awaits them on the Alph Tomb. The Unknown comes, creating a series of illusions that the Pokémon must overcome in order to contiune. The place is a maze with only three exits, with two leading to other parts of the maze and only one correct door. However, the true exit changes its location every two hours, so the Pokémon must hurry if it is to make it out.
If one does make it out, then the Raging Lake stands before them. From here, the waters stretch to the Sliver Waters, where Lugia awaits. With Suicane and Articuno, both will conjure occoasional Blizzards that will chill the Pokémon to the bone, so it is advisable to hurry on and not get caught by the icy winds.
Upon reaching the Sliver Waters, the Pokémon must search for the Beast of Waters, Lugia, in order to pass his test. But Lugia os swift and cunning, so it will be a gruelling task to compelete. Once the Pokémon has managed to catch Lugia, it will transport the Pokémon to its next destination.
Arriving at Terra's Cove, the Pokémon must navigate through the confusing network of underground tunnels dug out by the many ground Pokémon. If one does mange to reach, then it will stumble upon the Tin Tower, where Ho-Oh awaits with a test of his own.
If one passes that test, the Rainbow Bird shall transport the Pokémon to the Ilex Forest, where tall grasses an tress once again stand. Breaking through the natural maze full of unpredictable thunderbolts and savage Pokémon, the competior must find a golden charm that spells 'Celebi', and bring it to the Forest Guardian itself in order to pass Celebi's test; but be warned that the Guardian changes its position regulary.
When one passes the Forest Guardian's test, the Pokémon is given one day of rest before being transported to the third leg of the race.
Keeper Of Waves, Region Of Rukario
Reaching the Town of Twilight, the Pokémon must navigate through the realm of half-light, half-darkness and try to reach the Twilight Stadium, where Rukario awaits. There, the Pokémon are pitted against five other Pokémon (Not competiors) before facing Rukario. If they manage to pass Rukario's test of strength, then they are allowed to contiune onto the final leg of the race.
Wisher Of Stars, Region Of Jirachi
Each Pokémon land in different places in the Shoal Caves, where the tides come and go. If caught during High tide, then the Pokémon is in a whole lot of trouble, as the tides change every quarter of a day. When one does manage to escape from the caves, then Kyogre stands ready outside with his test. If the Pokémon passes, then Kyogre brings them to Galistrum, another place for the competiors to rest and get equipment. Again, it is optional.
Past the city, the Pokémon reaches the scorching deserts of Destra. There, the Pokémon are forced to wander throgh the sands, under the blazing sun. But what's worse is the appearence of Entei and Moltres, expelling random fireballs here and there. If one is not careful, they may get hie, and hurt pretty badly. The occoasional sandstorms will appear as well.
Out of the desert and into the icy caves of Glaciea, where Suicane and Articuno have created an icy maze filled with booby traps and obstacles. Pokémon are subjected to falling into icy spikes, get cut by icleis, slip on melting ice and other things. The occoasional winds will flow through, making any Pokémon chill to the bone.
Emerging from the icy caves, they reach upon the plains of Thundra, where Zapdos and Raikou stand, firing random thunderbolts within the never ending rain. One must be extremly careful around here.
Finally getting away from the storms, the Pokémon will meet upon the Earth Titan, Groudon, where his test awaits. If one manages to pass it, then it will proceed towards the final arena: The Trials Of Destiny.
There, the Regis stand with another test of Strength for the Pokémon. If it passes, then the Pokémon shall proceed onto the next trial, where Dexoys awaits.
After passing Dexoys' test, the Pokémon then finally stumbles uopn the Wisher Of Stars, Jirachi.
After passing Jirachi's test, the Pokémon must make haste towards the goal. But Rayquanza stands only inches away, with a final test for the first Pokémon who arrives.
If it passes before anyone else, then the Pokémon will finally reach the finishing line, and be crowned the king.

My Sign Up:
Name: Lucied
Species: Mightyena
Descrpition: Standing at a height of 3'05, this Mightyena's looks a bit taller then the others, making up for his weight of 78 lbs. His skin is a shade paler than the others, but his fur is jet-black in color, unlike the dark gray fur the others have. Lucied's legs are lean and strong, with his claws glaring white, shining like polished ivory like his teeth. His nose is a bit more redder than the others. However, his eyes are bright red in color, and has a scar cutting downwards from the top of his right eye towards the end. Strangely, he wears a sliver charm with a sliver carved letter 'L' hanging from it, worn over his neck.
Pesornality: Lucied is the last Pokémon you would ever expect competing in a race. A carefree soul, Lucied manily likes to kick back, relax and watch the clouds floating by, or the stars twinkling in the midnight sky. He never takes anything very seriously, and never losses his cool in any situation, always calmly proceeding forward, otherwise eating his humble pie and taking everything in his stride. A pratical joker, Lucied is the center of attenion almost everywhere he goes. However, when Lucied does become serious, he suddenly acts a lot differently, as of he become a totally different person...
