Does anyone have this game? or used too? i used to have it but then it got lost or it got broken.
I did this cheat to get more money and i hired alot of zoo keepers and i let the lions and animals out and i found it funny when the people started to scream. kinda weird but ok. plus there was this glitch where the people would be walking under the buildings and they would start doing the panicked animation when all the animals where still in there cages and they weren't attacking anyone.
i don't like the 2nd one, because its too hard.
had you ever had this game? or still play it or have it??

You're a horrible person if you let your animals out of the cages just to scare your guests. Imagine if you were in that zoo when that happened.

I loved both Zoo Tycoon games, and I have no idea what you're talking about because Zoo Tycoon 2 is far easier than the first one. The animals don't need a specific amount of each type of terrain, plants, or rocks, so you can make it look however you want as long as you make it the right biome. Also, it looks MUCH better with real 3D models. Also, you can go up to your world like a real person and even take pictures of your animals in action. Maybe I'll post some of my pictures here if I'm feeling generous.

What do I do now?
I liked the 2nd one way better than the first. It was much easier and fun to understand and you could do freeform mode, which means you can spend as much money as ever without going broke!! I wish that was real life....
Anyway I liked the first one b/c I found a bunch of secrets and cheats. Like how to get a triceratops, a unicorn, mermaids, the list goes on
I like the second one though b/c Idk its just more fun. Except for one glitch that will turn off my game if I click on him. Stupid Galapagos Giant Tortoise...

The 1st one is better IMO, becuase its easier to be all perfectionist and OCD, and I found it to be a larger experience.

Also, I found a custom creature creator, which is no where near as feasible in ZT2, that really adds replay value. Unfortunately, its kinda glitchy.

It is the only computer game that I still play, over ten years after release. I started with a demo, which I had played for god knows how long before finally finding the full version in a shop. Later I bought the add-ons - Dinosaur Digs and Marine Mania, although the original still has a very special place in my heart.

I played Zoo Tycoon 2 as well, but it just couldn't match the original. It was considerably easier in the campaign mode, and the graphics and sound were just flat-out bad. 2D games have this advantage of not aging as quickly as 3D games do, and Zoo Tycoon 2 looked old the moment it came out. Special mention goes to animal models, which were horribly blocky.

I was only 6 when i did that so i didn't know any better, i don't find it funny anymore because you could see the people being mauled but no blood just getting thrown around and the animals would get out if the cages where decaying and you had to build a new fence and move the animals. What i found really annoying is that there was a glitch on mine where you put something they wanted in the cages and they would have sad faces over them. i used to put alot of circus in the zoo and you couldn't hear the people talking so you couldn't adopt new animals until you got rid of the extra buildings because the animals would be upset.
