I love the titles that I come up with >_>
Just got finished with my latest picture. Don't know where I got the idea.
At first I had colored it like a normal dog, but then I took a look at it and decided: "That's so boring!" I'm an artist, my job is to take the imagination and put it on paper. Sure I can do realism, but surrealism is where my heart truly lies. So I decided to color the dog blue, give him a red nose, and make the eyes yellow
There's no fun with plainess unless you make it interesting.
I really don't like my shading, or lack thereof, and my outlines are too messy (as well as some of my lines). Some of the areas are too dark and cover up detail. I have to admit it, I can't shade worth a dime, I muchly prefer doing it in pencil as opposed to CG. But, yet I couldn't be able to call myself an artist if I didn't try my hand at everything out there and skillfully master it
Anatomy-wise I think that I did pretty well, but the back leg is too long and its loner than the front legs, which is ill-proportioning on my part. I outlined all of the major muscles and skeletal detail. Well, either way my style is still in the developing stages, I don't know where I am yet or what I consider my technique to be in this area :/
More old pictures if you're interested (some of you have seen them):
Eye see you
Master Drawing

Where's my right?
