Cacthing

I was thinking of how you normaly cacth pokemon with a pokeball and that was basically it

so how about the idea of haveing to do something more while the Pokemon is in the process of being caught

for Ex using the stylus to keep the ball shut

it would add more dpth in cathing the pokemon instead of just throwing a ball&thats the end

so what do you all think would be good for cacthing pokemon;munchlax;

Yeah but it could get tricky, especially holding the ball shut. Since the pokeball is all tiny and such. Maybe you could direct where to throw the ball with the stlyus just for fun, but with little effect on the actual catching.....Although that might be cool for catching specific pokemon Like having to hit magnemite in the eye or something

Okay, umm...holding the ball shut when you've already thrown it and it is already at least five feet away does not seem like an easy task to me.

Nah, i would hate it, i hate that fishing thing as well.

If the Pokemon is hard to catch it will take lots of time and patience for it, and i like hard games, but not frustrating ones...

Sounds weird, if you are going to keep it shut everytime then thats a masterball not an ordinary ball.

Not sure if illegal, but it will screw up these games, man, thinkgs like this, let them be like in every other game, normal catching, [Trainer] threw PokeBall. Gotcha [pokemon] was caught.

Maybe throwing the Pokeball with the stylus --; .........I'm fine with the Pokemon catching how it is now, so a huge change in Pokemon catching wouldnt be so good.
Maybe this "Stylus Pokemon catching" will be a thing, which you have to use in the Safari Zone?

No. You don't see the trainers in the cartoon jumping on the ball to keep it shut so why add this stylus thing to it? It's fine as is.

I think that would take away from a bit of the simplicity of the game,.
Also I hate the fishing system too.

I don't really like that idea. Catching would become an annoying chore just like fishing and would take too long.

I like the Safari Zone idea, though. Perhaps they could do something called, say, "Pokémon Park" where you have to battle and weaken wild Pokémon then use the Capture Styler from Ranger to catch it.

Oh GOD do i hate that system, it was so friggin' pointless.

This idea is pretty bad, imo and alot of other people's, judging by these posts.
It'd make catching too much of a tiring mission objective, rather than being simple.

I think that the fishing system actually gave it a challege. It was too simple before, I tried playing an eariler game and the fishing system was waaay too easy...

Nah. Catching Pokemon isn't supposed to have a lot of depth. Tossing it and hoping the Pokemon stays in is just enough.

l HATE this idea ,*** ..sorry ..l mean ash throws a pkmn ball ,runs to it ,and sits on it .or he let his snorlax sit on the pkmnball ,strong pkmn who can escape out of the pokeball then .

but l like the fishing system tough ,it is more realistic .

They should make it that if you faint the Pokemon you can give it an item to revive it alittle. The stylus could also be involved in the process.
