Computer keeps freezing

I don’t know what the problem is but sometimes when my computer goes into stand by mode it just freezes on that screen and your computer is entering standby mode is on the screen and sometimes when I turn it of it turns itself back on, what is causing this and haw can I stop it from happening?

I sometimes watch things on you tube, is this damaging my PC?
