I've had a quick look but i couldnt see this anywhere so:

I live in England and im thinking of getting an American Diamond like i did with Emerald. If i get an American game am i right in thinking that it will play on my english DS and link up with English versions of the games (including Ruby etc) like my Emerald does? And what are the odds of it connecting to an English version of the Battle Revolution when it comes out over here?

Thanks for your help

If I understand correctly, the DS doesn't have region restrictions, so that means yes to an American D/P working on your DS. Everything else-I don't know.

uh, diamond and pearl would work on your british DS, but i dont think an american wii game would work on a british wii, cuz america has NTSC and every other continet has PAL. but the cartridges are the same. just different languages.

um the ds has the language feature. so you could probally shange languages.

Systems that don't use a TV as the graphic medium have no problem.

In short, yes. An european-bought DS can read and play any imported game.

That's just for the user interface, there's no way that would affect game text..Not everything in games is an actual word in another language, I mean we know what a Charizard is, but a translation would give you the romaji at best. At any rate, it's for the DS interface, doesnt cross into games.

And by the way - edit button.

Ok so just to confirm - an american game will play on english DS and link with english ruby and pearl yes.

Also it will link with british battle revolution in british wii.

P.s. Sunkern - rock on England - at least we won and we're through.

Yes, the DS doesnt have regions like other systems.

Yes, I don't see a reason why not.

I don't think it's a problem... I'm not sure they change much of anything between America and England... come on American english might sound funny to you, but you can under stand it.

"cuz america has NTSC and every other continet has PAL" - Ghost this isn't completely true... but the wii doesn't use standard video compression anyways...
