Devolving someone

Well, I'm getting my team all hatched and ready to train and it occurs to me that I really don't like dragonite. Now, I have one in my team, kinda important roll, he's my physical sweeper, but I'm thinking I would really rather prefer to just leave it as a dragonair.

My dragonite was going to be set up like this:

Adamant Nature
252 atk, 152 Sp. atk, 56 spd, 48 HP
Earthquake, aerial ace, thunderbolt, dragon dance.

Is there a workable way to re-make this move/EV set to be suited to a dragonair instead of a dragonite? Also, dragonair's stats are decent for this role, at least in a team made up of ninetales and golduck and stuff, right?

well, for starters, Dragonair can't learn EQ, and AA. I suggest you keep it a Dragonite since Dragointe know awesome moves like Focus Punch that Dragonair doesn;t know.

Uhh.....well for one thing, focus punch wouldn't really matter because it wasn't in my moveset <_< I was asking about this because dragonair LOOKS better by quite a great deal, which is one of the things I wanted in my team.

Not to mention that you won't get STAB on anything...

De-evolving is impossible, but you can breed to get a Dratini egg and go from there

I think he was using the term 'devolving' in a humourous way :p

If you want looks, why did you decide on Dragonite? This lardboy has no place on a team of elegant battlers :D Dragonair's movepool is the worst ever, so he isn't really an option unless you have your heart set on that particular line. If you wanted a good-lookin' dragon, I would suggest Kingdra because he is a handsome chap but not particularly overused or cheap.

Describe to me 'cheap'.
OK, so I have a soft spot for Kingdra when it comes to Ubers :D I just used to love Seadra, but it doesn't make any sense to keep him unevolved :/

Uh....okay, point taken everyone^^ I'll clear this all up before I go...

Guess so, pretty much.

De-evolving is impossible, but you can breed to get a Dratini egg and go from there
Um...for this, reference my original post below:
Well, I'm getting my team all hatched and ready to train and...
See? Already doing that, I was referring to devolving as in within my team -plans-

Okay, all that's cleared up, so...yeah, guess I've decided against this idea, not worth it even though dragonair's one of my all-time favorites^^ Oh yeah, and...

If you want looks, why did you decide on Dragonite? This lardboy has no place on a team of elegant battlers
Elegant nothing, I was just trying to avoid the ugly ones (like muk, salamence, metagross, machamp, those sorta things). Dragonite may not be too good looking, but he's got a surprisingly disarmingly cute smile, like yoshi or something, lol.
