DivX Problem

I downloaded DivX Play and when I ran the file all was good but when the actual installation started, it stopped responding and the a window appeared that "windows has encontered a problem a need to close" after that that the program closes. I checked the support on www.divx.com , I found nothing. Anyone know what's wrong.
