Skip the Poochyena for now and go straight for the ralts. Ralts is a rare pokemon.

I think Poochyena is a good pokémon if used right, It's a good staller.
abnd ralts definatly, and about taillow, what starter did you start with?, I fyou started with treecko or mudkip, definatly catch a taillow, if you chose Torchic, I'd capture a Wingull.

Get Poochyena and Ralts (Ralts being a priority).
Get Wingull instead of Taillow. It's what I always do.

It really depends on your starter. If you chose either Mudkip or Treecko, I would catch a Taillow AND a Ralts, but no Poochyena. If you've chosen Torchic, then choose Wingull, as it will help you a LOT against Roxanne, Rustoro City's Gym Leader. Along with Wingull, AND your Torchic's Peck, assuming you keep it until then, you'll have no problem with Brawly either, and he's the Deword Town Gym Leader.

I say get all three, raise them dump the Mightyena keep the other too.If you want some good movesets for them Pm me thougt you shouldn't have any problems, raising them.

Zubat>Wingull>Taillow.

Zubat and Golbat are great against Brawly.

Let's just say Swellow = Pelipper.

In ways of Speed and decent sweeping/attack, Swellow owns. In Defense, Pelipper KILLS.

I'm indifferent, but if I had to choose, Crobat. :O

Imo if you chose torchic, get a wingull, a lotad/seedot and a ralts.
If you chose mudkip get a taillow, a ralts and a shroomish.
if you chose treeko get a geodude, a zubat and a ralts.
You can put in any of these one of my personal favorites, aron.
