Well, once a thread is closed, you can't edit the posts you've made in there.
You could ask a mod to do so for you, but only if it's really needed.

No you can't. You can't interact with closed threads. Just read.

You have to ask a Mod/Admin to open it so you can edit it OR let the Mods/Admins do the editting for you.
