I wanna battle someone really badly, but I know he got some pokemon such as Deoxys and pokemon like that by trading with someone who uses a GS. I guess I better not battle that guy, for the sake of my game, so what should I do?

P.S.: I have the three dogs (Colosseum), Lugia and three birds (XD) and Ho-Oh (Nintendo Special Event). All these pokemon are authentic. Also I have over 100 hours of gameplay. That should change ur mind.

so you're battling somebody who traded with somebody who used a gameshark?

i'm not sure if gameshark trails are wiped by trading, but why don't you trade your valueables onto the gamecube, train some other pokemon from XD, then battle him? if your game is corrupted, then you wont lose much.

there are ALOT of great pokemon from XD like chansey, salamance, lapras, why don't you use them?

if you really want to use a legendary, use lugia. you can get it again if the pokemon mess up your game, and he'll sweep if both games are safe.

But if you really want an answer, then I suggest you don't battle that guy if you want to get pokemon from further events, let alone be allowed to participate in any further events. Why am I saying this? Obtaining a pokemon generated by a cheat code can ruin your game, whether it's slow(responsible cheating), or fast(irresponsible cheating)... Even if it's not visible, the change on the glitch levels caused by getting a cheat-generated pokemon can destroy your game upon obtaining the cheat-generated pokemon...

I never once hacked my Emerald, but I did trade with someone who hacked his AND traded hacked Sapphire Pokémon into it through unhacked Colosseum. When the Mystic Ticket arrived, the download worked perfectly.

Maybe I just got lucky, but I have dozens of Secret Bases from mixing that have hacked Jirachis and Deoxys----one even has one of the R/S Missingnos! (the one that sounds like an Unown)
