Might want to include natures and ev spreads for full rate. *hint hint*

Even though this an in-game team, why make Ho-oh or Lugia learn Fly? Of course it's just your personal preference, but couldn't you simply have an hm slave or two for things like that?

That's for the competitive rating thread, mind you. I believe EVs and Natures here are completely optional ;)

Heartgold-Team One:

Typhlosion @ Leftovers/Wise Glasses
Nature: Modest/Timid
Ability: Blaze
- Flamethrower/Eruption
- Focus Blast
- HP (Electric, Ice, Grass)
- ???

This is for in-game team, right? So this is a better option, IMO. Typhlosion's Special Attack is higher than it's attack, so I suggest getting special moves in there. HP Electric, Ice or Grass? Electric is for the Pure Water-types and some Flying-types. Ice is for Dragons and Grass-types. Grass is for Ground, Rock and Water-types. Take your pick ;)
I have no idea for the last slot, so sorry :(

Ho-oh @ Muscle Band
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Ability: Pressure
- Sacred Fire
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Roost

YOU PUT FLY ON HO-OH?! SHAME ON YOU!!!

Haha just kidding. But seriously, it's a lot stronger than Aerial Ace, though ;)
Sacred Fire is for Physical STAB, and boy, it sure is powerful! Earthquake to take down opposing Fires and Rock-types. Roost is to shrug off any damage, especially if you can survive a Rock-type attack ;)

Espeon @ Wise Glasses/Life Orb
Nature: Modest
Ability: Synchronize
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Morning Sun
- Calm Mind

I like this, but Swift almost isn't worth it unless you want to shoot unavoidable stars. Otherwise, it isn't super-effective against anything. Use Calm Mind instead.

Meganium @ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Overgrow
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Magical Leaf/Energy Ball
- HP (Rock)

Meganium, IMO, is a good supporter. Good defenses. Use Reflect and Light Screen to defend your teammates from incoming attacks. Don't put in Ingrain otherwise you could get walled by Steel-types. HP (Rock) will take down Flying-types and Bugs as well :)

Gyarados (Shiny) @ Leftovers/Razor Fang
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Intimidate
- Aqua Tail/Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake

Are you mad? Gyarados' Special Attack is abysmal! Don't put in Special Attacks other than if it had Baton Passed Calm Minds or Nasty Plot to it. Even then, it would still suck. Aqua Tail is more powerful, but less accuracy. Waterfall is a good HM move, other than Surf, that can be used instead. More accuracy,a little less power, but has a chance of flinching. Ice Fang for Grass and Flying-types. Earthquake for Electric and Steel-types :)

Lapras
Nature: ???
Ability: Water Absorb
- Surf
- Rock Smash
- Whirlpool
- Strength

Since this is obviously your slave, put in Rock Smash and Strength, since Waterfall is so much better on Gyara.

Soulsilver-Team Two:

Feraligatr @ Muscle Band/Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Torrent
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang
- Dragon Claw
- Crunch

Just like Gyarados, but with Dragon Claw and Crunch for more coverage. You can replace Dragon Claw with Earthquake if you wish ;)

Lugia @ Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Pressure
- Aeroblast
- Psychic
- Charge Beam
- Roost

YOU PUT FLY ON LUGIA?! HAVE YOU NO SHAME?!

Though Extrasensory has more PP and the flinching effect, it fails to be a more powerful substitute for Psychic, so yeah :(

Umbreon @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Nature: Brave
Ability: Synchronize
- Moonlight
- Payback
- Confuse Ray
- Screech

Payback is better than Crunch IMO. Umbreon is slow, so Payback is practically sure to get double the power every time. Also, put in the Confuse Ray and Screech combo to make Physical Attackers to damage themselves more from confusion, and have Payback deal more damage ;)

Tyranitar @ Muscle Band
Nature: Brave
Ability: Sand Stream
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

Dragonite @ Life Orb/Lum Berry
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Inner Focus
- Dragon Claw/Outrage/Dragon Rush
- Dragon Dance
- Aerial Ace/Ice Punch/Thunder Punch/Fire Punch
- Roost

Pick from any Dragon move. Dragon Claw is accurate but less power. Outrage is accurate and more power, but a confusion side-effect. Dragon Rush is more power, but inaccurate. Dragon Dance to boost yourself even further. In the third slot, pick from any of the four to go with Dragonite, and make sure what you pick can cover the type that will your team more. Roost to restore your HP.

Scizor @ Shell Bell
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
- X-Scissor
- Bullet Punch
- Aerial Ace
- Swords Dance

This set will rack you up some nice kills. Bullet Punch is preferred since it's deadly after one Swords Dance. Also, it benefits from STAB, and because of Technician. Same goes for Aerial Ace, minus the STAB. X-Scissor is already powerful in it's own right ;)

2nd Soulsilver-Team Three:

Smeargle @
Judgement
Aeroblast
Sacred Fire
Spacial Rend

Smeargle
Transform

Smeargle
Psycho Cut
Leaf Blade
Shadow Claw
Night Slash

Smeargle
Ingrain
Giga Drain
Toxic
Leech Seed

Smeargle
Surf
Waterfall
Whirlpool
Fly

Smeargle
Cut
Rock Smash
Strength
Flash

I did not change anything with your Smeargles, since I have no idea what to do with them. It's the variety of their moves that gets me :(

Changes/Comments in bold ;)
