iPod help

Hi there.

Muh best friend called me today and say he's having troubel with his iPod he just got (Nano). He says he has a Dell computer and Itunes on it. His problems are 1) How to rip a cd to the compy (don't know this one since I don't have a Dell @__@) 2) he to put the songs he has on the computer onto iTunes (strange, I know, but I've never had an iPod and I dont want to tell him any false info) 3) How to put the music from iTunes onto his iPod (my brother said if he just plugs it in then it should do that automaticly, but he says it's not working for him)

And it's really hard to work with him when he's on Long Island and I'm upstate almost 5 hours away AND we have different type comps x.x (I usually would say use windows media player, though today he was like 'wuh? it's not here! T_v") lol

Please tell me I actually got the section right this time x__x

I don't know for sure ;P I asked him, though all he said was "yeah but it doesn't tell you how in there" meaning, it doesn't tell him how to put the songs onto his iPod lol

He wantd to originally burn a cd, then put that on iTunes and then onto his iPod, but now that I didn't know how to rip a cd onto a Dell, in the end he ended up download bitlord (something for windows ONLY) onto Dell and it not being able to work so now he has to use google to find songs. x_____x

A Window should pop up with the songs you can download from the CD. Open up the page, and drag them into the iTunes menu

You need to drag the songs onto your playlist to put them in your iPod.

All else fails, look at the iPod FAQs at Apple's site
