Lapras vs. blastoise

i cant decide lapras vs. bastoise. This is for the elite four btw.

I don't know...it's pretty hard...if they're the same level choose Blastiose..but Lapras is a solid choice too...It's really up to you.

I'd choose Lapras, becasue it's part Ice, and becasue it knows Thunderbolt.

I'd choose Lapras, just because I dont like Blastoise.But It's up to you, I mean you could also go through the elite first with Lapras and then with Blastoise...

the thing i like about blastoise is its defense but it has crappy sp attack and lapras has better

Go with Lapras,because of Water Absorb.

Put a Rock Pokemon first,then switch to Lapras and if the opponent uses a Water Attack,Lapras will gain HP!

Hydro Cannon sucks! The same thing as Hyper Beam,you attack and deliver massive damage and then you lose the 2nd turn.

Rain Dance is pointless on Blastoise,only Thunder Dancers and Pokemon with Swift Swim should have it.

Lonely nature sucks on Blastoise,Lonely lowers Defense.Brave nature is better on it.

Perish Song on Lapras is reduntant,stupid,and useless.The trainers will always switch when they're Pokemon are about to faint by that attack.

Rash nature sucks on Lapras! Rash lowers Sp.Defense! Modest nature is better on Lapras.

I say go with Blastoise. With your Jolteon, you don't need Lapras to use T-Bolt. Blastoise can do the job just as well as Lapras, plus it has better defense.

Guys, they said Elite Four. In-game. Hydro Cannon is fine in-game as is Hyper Beam and so forth because the AI won't suddenly jump to use the opportunity to Focus Punch/switch/whatever it is you're supposed to do with the extra turn, and the second one might not always work, since again, the AI might not always know to use Water on a rock.

I'm using a lapras, and trust me, it makes a great team member. Better than my old blastoise did.

yea if you just have Snorlax,Jolteon and Kadabra then just them both in.

rash nature raises special attack very quickly
and all those moves are special attacks and with is ability
blocks critical hits it is perfect

and with blastoise
lonley
he doesnt have very good defence
and so lonely nature is perfect
hydro canon is very good
rain dance good for double battles
ice beam dragon types and good for when it is being threatened with
grass attacks
and earth quake good for poison
