I made these Mareep Recolours

guess whos back?
There good for recolors, though I would suggest to make the red one have more contrast. The light shade is too similar to the dark shade, so just make it a little lighter, and you'll be fine.

Yeah. With that. I have Photoshop 5, ans yeah, the read doesn't havee much to choose from. Do you think I should have bright read at one end, then up to Purple-y?

The Blastoise is missing some outline, otherwise its ok.
The revamp is what needs a lot of improvement. When doing revamps, you have to reshade the sprite, what you did was basically a recolor. Also, you messed up the coloring. Theyre should be yellow on the belly, the claws should be white, and the tail is crooked. I would suggest that you work on other things, like recolors and mixes, if you just started spriting. Look at the one in my sig and youll see what I mean.

The colors of the mareep are too bright, but it shouldn't be hard to fix that. Recolors are very simple, I recommend that you use a pallet of another pokemon to create your colors. ^^

Yeah, I'll do that. Also, Omega Dragon, I saw your sig and that's why I did the revamp. I was trying to use your sig to help me. Lol, I'll stick to recolours. Also, 2 things. 1, how do I make it so that I can select a colour to put in, and then only rub out a colour that I have selected aswell. 2, How do I move bits of Poké's to other ones? I tried using that "Lasoo" command in Photoshop, but it didn't work...

don't use photoshop use paint instead its alot easier. Don't use paint defaults or eye-stinging colours. Maybe use the eyedropper tools to take colours from other pokemon until you get a feel for what colours are good to use.

It was good for a first try, but the point is that you have to get used to shading before moving on to revamps, and recolors and mixes are good things to do to get used to it.
Also, I would suggest you use paint, its a lot easier to use photoshopo, and its a better program for spriting.

Pardon the Second post, again, but I've just finished a recolour of Feraligatr, and I'm going to use paint for some more.
