problems in FR

um...i have two wireless adapters and FR and E. What i planed on doing upong getting FR was trading the Eevee and the Charmander from FR to E. But when i went into the union room with both games, i could talk between the games and battle, but for some reason, it wouldn't let me trade. I'm extremely PO'ed by this and want to know what i'm doing wrong....

Before you can trade in both games, you must:

1. Beat the E4, obtain the National Dex, and fix Celio's Network Machine on FR

2. Beat the E4 and obtain the National Dex on Emerald

If you haven't done one or all of these things that's your problem.

That's not fair..on the old games you could trade as soon as you got pokemon...*hates the games now*
