EDIT:so your saying that if i had a GBA with ruby in it and tried to trade with a Ds with Saphire in it, it wouldnt work?

Nope. There are no link cable ports at all, cause DS does everything wirelessly.

And in case you ask, the Wireless Adapter doesn't work either.
