what does STAB mean? I've seen some people use it in the RMT section.

Same Type Attack Bonus.

If a Pokemon uses a move of its type, it get a 1.5x bonus. So, for example, a water type would get STAB on Surf, a grass type would get STAB on Vine Whip, etc.
