Sorry if this sounds dumb but when will the Name Change thread be re-opening? I really need a name change as this name was dumb to begin with. As soon as this is answered Mods you could close this.

It will be reopened once the name-changing administrators (and maybe others who can do it) find time to change those who are awaiting on line. If you didn't see, there are MANY pages of unchanged usernames in the closed, official thread. Just gotta be patient and wait it out.

Also, that's why a user should choose their usernames wisely when they create their account or when they change.

...People also need to stop making threads asking about this too. Cough.
