Sonic Rush Help!!

In Zone 4 for Sonic or Zone 1 for Blaze, there is part in Act 2 where you push down on the d-pad, and it launches you up. There is one of these that when I push down until the thing doesn't make any sound, and I release the d-pad, and I still do not get high up enough to get the ledge or whatever.

You just do a trick technique by holding R and presing up once the spring has launched you high enough.

A lot of people seem to have had that problem. Learning to use the R button effectively is one of the keys to Sonic Rush.

 

[Flaming Lip]

When you get to highest part of the jump hold up and press 'r' that should give you enough boost to clear the ledge.
