Tutorials/Programs for making AMVs

This Place is Death.
I am in need of a tutorial, and/or program that can be used ot make Anime Music Videos. I also plan on using this for things like Lost, but all's that matters is the program. Can someone link me to or give me the name of a program that can help me with this? A tutorial or instructional text of some sort would be nice, but not neccisary. Much thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Windows Movie Maker is a good simple program to use if you want to make a AMV, although while it has got some visual effects and a fair few scene transition options, it doesnt have a great deal of them and not a lot of them are really flashy.

But still, its a good starting program and you should already have it on your computer. I made my first GMV in Windows Movie Maker and it turned out great. But if your looking for a program that you can do a lot of flashy crap on, then WMM isn't the program for you. But if you want to start simple and work your way up to the big programs, then I highly recommend WMM so you can use to editting

OR you could use a much simpler and more reliable type and download a program like eMule

Or better yet, use Download Accelerator and find websites like BlueLaguna.com that have a clips to download that dont need the use of bit torrents

Without money, WMM is your only choice, unless you want to buy the expensive yet awesome Sony Vegas. And the tuts are animemusicvideos.com.
Either way, try to synch and work hard on the AMV.

OK, I'm confused. Can someone flat out give me the programs I need and what the do in list form?

Like...
WMM - Makes video
??? - Rips DVD onto computer
etc.

OK, lemme try this again...I'll be more specific. I am going to start out using Windows Movie Maker. I want someone to tell me the programs I need, what each one actually does (Like, converter means...?), and I want them in list form of the order tey will be used. Talk with me as if I had no idea what you were talking about and had as if I had no knowledge on the subject.
