Ever since I've read the info on D\P, something has plagued me:

they say that you'll be able to trade with your GBA pokemon games, but how? I've been hearing, since before the DS came out to, that it wouldnt be able to use the link cable!

Anybody have an idea, a clue, or some useful info perhaps? I reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyyy want sceptile in the new games.

The DS has a GBA emulator programmed into it. It also has a GBA game slot. In other words, you just need two DS's to trade between the two.

Latios, come on. Maybe he/she doesn't have a DS yet, so he/she wouldn't know. Plus, there's nothing in the FAQ for that (as far as I know).

Actually, you probably transfer GBA to DS from within one DS itself. Some DS games like Mega Man Battle Network 5 Double Team DS recognizes GBA games and you can upload battlechips and the like. This game will more than likely have the same principle. You will be able to trade within the DS from all GEN 3 GBA games.
