I'm A Potato, that's what the whole topic was about. But with spelling like that, it's not surprising you didn't get it. :p

Anyway, I think it's what Mystify said. Or maybe it is for special or important Pokémon.

You should make a better title for your topic.
As I have discovered on some of em... the gold ones tend to have more "hidden prizes" when you click on them such as protiens, repels, etc. etc.

I just think the people paid more for a golden gravestone :p

I agree with this. It just proves that the more money you have the better tombstone you can get when you die.

What actually happnes is when you get all the pokemon, you can go to the top of the pokemon tower and use strength on the nearest gravestone and you'll go down into a seacret cave where you can fight Manaphy and Lucairo at the same time!!! They're both shiny!!!

But seriosly, I think it's just a tribute to the older games where all the tombstones where gold because of the rubbish colours.

I think people berry their pokemon under gold gravestones if their pokemon were famous

Well, Even though this may be closed, I think Pogeys buryed under Golden tombstones had some type of importance, IE first Scyther tamed, first recorded shiny, etc, etc.

maybe theyre something from the past

No, I'm pretty sure they're something from the future *rolls eyes*

Good theories, all, but who knows what passes through the minds of the enigmatic demigods of nintendo's pokemon staff? Maybe they were just bored and knew that someone, somewhere, would see those gold graves and be like, "Hey?! Theyre GOLD! Why!?" Its one of those...mysterious...mysteries....

Maybe because they didn't want all the graves to have the same color, because that would be a little dull.

Most probably gold gravestones are used for famous pokemon that died.
