Emerald Attacks??

i saw a video on gamespot about this game....and on one of the the vids. it didnt show attacks...so i was wondering if theres an option in the option menu where you can turn attacks on or off

oh, yes you can turn the attacks off but say you do ice beam and when you do it it shows ice flying from your guy to the foe.

but if you turn it off it wont show the ice flying.

Yes, there's an option to turn it off. It turns the animations off and makes the battles a bit faster.

I prefer to leave them off most of the time. Streamlines the battles. I hate shift-style too. So time consuming: "Would you like to switch?" "Would you like to switch?" "Would you like to switch?" So annoying, and it isn't good to get used to if you plan to play link battles; it's not conductive to the development of good PvP tactics, where it's always "set" style.

If you want faster battles, do that. You'll find it weird though if you "grew up" with the ainmations....

I grew up with em, but I still prefer to have the battle animations off. Makes the battles go by faster in my opinion. Colosseum is for watching battle animations.

If you want to turn em off, hit start, go to option, and set battle scene to OFF.
